@Dairusire Nice - looks like it spools early

How does it feel to drive?

It's an absolute weapon. it spools up really quickly and if I'm sitting at 4000rpm I never wait for power. It also drives a hell of a lot better at night because of the colder air temps.

Contrary to what that torque curve looks like, the power is actually delivered really smoothly. I put this down to the turbo setup entirely. With the VF23 it was super punchy and in your face, but this is much much smoother and nicer to drive. According to D-Tech, I'd have picked up another 40-50kw if I had been front mount and actually used e85 like originally intended.

Should be fun times when I do my retune then! Very similar setups on our cars only I have the front mount

Should definitely be! Don't forget though, I've also got a higher compression ratio than you and also forged. mines 8.8cr versus your 8.0. So doing well, you'll get something similar :)

Looks spooly. super hot day and average intercooler is disappointing, Whats the boost look like, got that sheet? how much boost is it hanging onto when it hits peak power?

I'm gunning for the 223kw mark which should be no issue now that I have the front mount- what's your end goal?

It's hanging onto the boost nearly right through the rev range, but does drop a touch after 7k. It's sitting at 224-225kpa which is equal to 1.2bar or there abouts. target is 220kpa but obviously will be a touch higher.

I'm hoping for the 240-250kw mark out of the VF36 once I've gone front mount. However, there might come a point where the VF36 will get hiffed before that happens haha xD

Errr what? Kpa is directly related to bar, as in, move the decimal place a few spots over and you're there 225kpa is 2.25 bar.

It's including atmospheric pressure, and it's the way it reads in the Link ECU. So yes you're right but drop 1 bar for atmospheric pressure and that gives the result.

Target is still 1.2bar but hovers around the 1.25 area.

That's never good to hear mate :/

Which engine do you have ?

My 3.0R had a really small head gasket leak. I gave Rislone head gasket fix a try and it stopped the leak B|

Fixing the engine is more expensive than just swapping it for a used one on these engines.

Depending on your car, it might be an alternative to fixing it properly. There's a risk of plugging the heater core or something else though, your choice to go this route or not.

2011 BR9 Outback, EJ253 (i-AVLS).

A used engine will still be reasonably spendy as the engine will have to be from a fairly new car, and at that point I'd rather overhaul the original engine and retain a motor with known service history.

Voucher from Grabone, the place is Skylink auto electrical or something like that.

The place looked a little dodgy though, they wanted to check my car for 1 hour ... had to insist that I just wanted the regas but still had to wait 1 hour 30 min total.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
