Probably BF. Find the control box and make sure everything is plugged in the right holes and tight. Pretty sure the sensors all have the same plugs so could be installed in the wrong place.

BF? I’ve moved the control unit from where it was originally installed but it’s always been a problem. Thinking I might pull off the all the defi stuff and just get auto meter gauges.

I almost reckon that's working fine and that it's just got a crap reference.

Try it on another line with a cleaner vac source. Could also put a restrictor in the line or coil up a bunch of vac line to give a similar result.

This is why I haven’t got a boost gauge 😂😂😂 sounds like a PITA to install and setup

Its really not, I’m just used to mechanical gauges, electronic gauges are more than just a single t fitting, ground and power.

Killed the left rear wheel bearing. Ugh.

Car has been costing me a few pennies recently. Probably to be expected from a 14 year old, >200k vehicle.

Gutted. You still got those one's from me a few years back on the shelf or were they already in use?

It was one of those hubs! Thinking about it I probably have a spare somewhere (did I buy two off you or just one?) hahaha. No harm in having a new one anyway, it will presumably see the car out.

It started doing a kinda thumpy rumbling on the motorway, thought I might have a flat so pulled over at the petrol station just up the road to check tyre pressures.... when I got to the rear left I could feel the heat radiating off the rim, it had got that hot hahaha.

Still drove it like another 100km just to make sure it was really, really rooted 😥

Partsouq are the cheapest place for genuine wheel bearings, even sell cheaper alternatives. Got mine in about 3-4 days from ordering, happy as

Yep ordered from there as soon as I got home. Probably should have had a rummage around in the garage by the sounds of things.... I still haven't had a look to see if I actually had a spare hub 😅

Finally fixed my hoist again...

Around 6 months ago the chain snapped, which took us ages to finally sort.
We bought a new chain $100 or so, and installed that, but then we found the original geared cogs were too worn and were slipping with the new chain.

So just procrastinated about that for ages, until last week I mentioned it to my dad, who said to give him a cog.
So did that, and he found replacements for $12 each, and then machined them out to fit at his work, and provided new pins etc.

While we were at it, he machined out the original motor pulley to fit the replacement motor, as we'd been running a larger pulley, as that's all that could fit.

Finally got it all together, and working this week!
And for the first time since we've owned it, it can now lift a falcon! Previously with the larger motor pulley it was geared wrong and wouldn't do it!

All this means I can FINALY put the legacy back up on the hoist and find the oil leak and exhaust leaks....
Then don't get me started on the fuel rail leaks...

Finally locked my inner Scrooge in a cupboard and went out and bought a new exhaust for the WRX, while I was there I got a bit carried away and bought new coilovers too 😂😂 I was trying to find second hand ones to keep costs down but to be blunt - people are useless!! No one has made much of an effort to try sell theirs.

So all I need now is a downpipe + tune, wait for the additional Cusco chassis bracing to arrive and I’m done modifying the car :)

..maybe

Swapped the new hub in. While I was putting the tools away I found the spare one that @Andy_Mac sold me a couple of years ago. Oh well, at least I know I have a spare now :P

Do you add new grease or just run what Subaru has already put in? I’ve heard the Subaru grease is rather average?

Sealed unit on these, dunno how I would go about getting more grease in there.

Took it in to fail it's WoF.

99% chance of new tyres today.

Haha 3 out of 4 tyres agree that they are s*** and need replacing.

Set of four and an alignment tomorrow then :)

Otherwise passed! Go the Legacy.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
