Started cleaning up my Forester Intercooler while I've got it off. The sticky insulation crap that was on the top of it is a real cunt to get off (even with an attempted burn off!) Ended up using a knife and cutting most of it off, gonna sand the rest off and then repaint it in grey/silver. Black sucks

Changed my AFM to the one i bought off Stoffa.

Seemed to make a very marginal difference to the lurching etc.

However, i then reset my ECU and all was fine, seems to be running great.

Now i want to use some UEC as i dont think the Foz has ever been pampered with the stuff.

Just need to find somewhere nice, quiet and secluded.

not my car but took sister in laws rover 620ti for drive 2 see what was going on, BOOST CUT, stupid mechanic hadnt put the hoses back on, easy fix once saw where they were, ;D

Just went for a ride in my mates 440kw evo..on the 330kw pump gas tune he just got back from STM.....needless to say no traction in the wet and still being forced into your seat im feeling its going to be mental in the dry haha

tore around teretonga by myself and td05 spiked to 30.7psi at about 4000rpm in 5th on the way home. its the weirdest thing to see your boost gauge wind around past 2bar on PART THROTTLE. got boost? helllll yes

not sure what caused that will investigate later

It would probably have been slower than 20psi. After that it's pretty much just creating heat.

I know what you mean though Nick. When I first fitted my TD05 I forgot to reset the boost tap.

I saw the boost gauge go off the end of the 25psi scale in 1st gear. ;D

I've had 2bar first gear moments when the boost controller hasn't been setup... pretty mind blowing they were too.

Also a member of the +25psi boost moments with a TD05. Very easy to ignore the big arrow and somehow install a boost tap the wrong way around

Other than stress out over a dead turbo just general sunday duties when one owns a subie; Check fluid, minor tuning and adjustments, tyre kick....stilll no oil leaks! kick ass!!!

try the wiring harness under the seat it sometimes gets caught up in the rails...

Tightened up the accellerator cable in the camry. Alot better response and doesnt change up half way through the rev range when my foots planted now.

Took RX7 down to workshop to prep for paint job, removed wing, indicators, reflectors.

Also dropped one of my pods for stagea off for paint.

Had factory tapedeck AM/FM radio removed & Pioneer headunit/Ipod installed

Even with factory speakers it sounds great!
