I don't see may badly behaved Subarus here (at least during the day). Mainly tradies in their vans and Rangers/Hiluxes doing stupid ****, and people running red lights (red means go!). Nearly driven up the back of a few people movers driven by (I'm guessing) Philippino building crews. Usually crawling along at 30-40 in 60 zones.

Bit late but:

- new CV boot (the annoying one)

- Gearbox oil (FUCHS 75w90 - Titan Supergear)

- Rear diff Oil (FUCHS 80w90)

Ordered some love on Partsouq.

Rocker gaskets and associated bits and bobs, oil filter, acc belt and a restrictor pill.

Removed the v7 handbrake cables and installed gc8 handbrake cables and adjusted handbrake so happy to have a working handbrake now.

Also fitted pink laterials and trailing arms same time feels alot more ridged and firm in the rear . not sure but i think my left rear shock might be knocking? they bc golds and only done about 10,000kms so i hope not but its still under warrenty anyway..

Anyone else had bc golds knock early on in life?

Yep both rears on that set i got off you are real squeegy. I put it down to no movement on the shafts to lube seals. Not knocking just no damping at all so just bouncing on the springs.

Cleaned and replaced my IACV gasket, used q-tips and electrical cleaner to get it nice and spiffy. (180,xxx Kms)

Idle pick up was much better, and doesn't feel like it trys to stall at a stop like it started recently. (after i replaced maf and o2) expensive lessons for a $20 gasket from winger.

O'well, half the mainentence done and oil change completed with Edge 5w-40.

I bought it a towbar, which may need some hacking to fit as its for a Lancaster, but I can has big hammerz and der weldurp!!

Ok thats good to know as they where like new as well. i only towed the car with them in so wasn't long enough to get a feel for them. I have changed the swaybar links to ball joint type ones as i no they where worn and needed changing to match the laterial arm set i installed anyway.. maybe old links where rattling around a bit cause it seems to be a lot less noise?.I'll keep a eye on them over the next few weeks though still a bit iffy.

So; after.... uh... how long ago did I get my wof? I finally welded the centre bracket onto the downpipe of the wrx- albeit I have only recently just got mig wire. and I tell you that was the most awkward bloody bit of welding I've ever done- ended up crawling through from the front to weld it...

Yeah but need to lay down a relay and airhorns are unreliable and bust easy.. not sure if i like the sound of the supertones but i guess they are loud enough to scare people lol.

Need to get 22b vents painted, a wing mirror and roof flap painted. The clear on back of scoop is also getting pretty ****ed. So will chuck it on and drop it off and see what they say.
