new car is a 2007 facelift 3.0r spec b leggy wagon with SI Drive. auto (its not as bad as you'd think, the flappy paddles are fun) in a gorgeous pearl white. got a few kms on her but VERY tidy, with a wicked little boot spoiler. looking quietly for some 18s for it as dealer did what dealers do and stuck 17s on it.

so smooth and quiet.... mods are being researched, already pulled ECU Image and had a look around in it, some bits of the ecu have been defined but there is still a lot missing, no avcs adjustment yet, no speed limiter tinkering, fuel and timing only (basically) at this stage.

PS: check the intake plastic chamber just past the throttle body, these are notorious to crack along the middle groove.

My 09 nz new is key start also. And I am going to check for the crack now

Drove over the Rarangi/ port underwood hills (blenheim to picton via the coast/whites bay) with a couple of mates; his 2015 gsr lancer, and my STi; was definitely an awesome drive. no pictures unfortunately; but will try and nab a friends GoPro for footage next time we go over.- and about half of it is gravel.

Front mount Holset you say....

I really, really want to do a front high-mount turbo. I just don't know if the car would overheat continuously running a Civic triple-core half-width radiator. I know a lot of the Evo guys do it but many of them are just strip cars.

Ripped out all the factory navi shyte. Oh, and the in car DVD player, shonky reversing camera, toll booth sensor and a poor attempt at the auto light dimmer.

Turns out the auto light dimmer may well have been there for a bloody long time, as it took a chunk of dash skin with it. Fuark. Need to find some way of patching it up.

Driven about 1000kms in the last week, and issues are starting to make them selves known. Desperately needs stiffer swaybars and links, strut bracing and stiffer (lower maybe?) Springs. Front struts are a bit noisy on decompression (high speed potholes and the like) so may be looking at new / rebuild struts. They bilstein so not too bad. Slushbox fluid needs doing too.

Oil is pretty clean, but will be changing it asap, possibly next weekend. Loving driving it, so quiet and comfortable, but it wallows a bit and is begging to be tuned. Stay posted!!!!

Exact same thing happened with mine, except it was a jap-spec radar detector in the side of the binnacle.

Looked into various repair methods, concluded most of them suck, talked to a wrecker and I can get a whole dash skin for $120 so likely to just do that.

If it's in a small/inconspicuous area, go to a wrecker and find one that's been in a crash that has deployed the passenger side airbag (aka the dash skin is now rubbish) and get them to cut a square out of it, you'll probably get it for free/$2 or something.

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
