the new goodyear eagle f1's are asymmetric and are awesome. they are a bit pricey tho. they have also been rated #1 in alot of reviews, just google it

i just threw some re001s on in the weekend...seem comparable to the toyo t1r's i had on previously...the re001s feel a bit grippier if i had to make a call on it (on a little test drive over the paekakariki hill) and quieter as well, got mine for $192 a corner fitted and balanced from good old tonys tyre service

If you want cheap RE001's you better buy them soon.

The most popular sizes have been Aussie made and the factory is due to close next month.

Meh, it's worth paying extra for the RE001s to ensure they came from Japan. The overseas ones don't stick as well IMO.

And on that note, how do they actually compare to each other? Could be much like the RE001 replacing the Grid-III... very different tyres indeed.

The RE11 replaces the RE01-R development was based on that model.
