its so minor the gas usage, youd barely notice the difference. i beg you to try lol
-
ok, and i blocked the boost guage after the tee just to make sure that wasnt a fault, did the same thing still. ill try crankin the spring down tomorrow and give it a very small run. dont wana do any damage lol

this thing blows little or no blue smoke so unless its chipped a tooth or out of balance? the noise stopped for a bit and started again. would go back to factory but the cars frontmounted, so itl be hard to do haha

sitting in a gassy filling up then getting "pulled" doesnt constitute in driving does it. and ive been pulled over pulling out of a carpark, no i did not even hit boost, ive been pulled over just cruisin at sub 110 on the motorway, and had my car checked. even going through police checkpoints, i get asked to pull to the side for an inspection.

its algood! nut fell off the linkage underneath the car, bolt was still there, just hanging (car hasnt been driven haha). reuben, i have the same exhaust as you, hks silent high power my car is at its certified height, as i found out of fri, any higher and i will get another green sticker and a $200 fine! thats what i got, cause he misread my cert. now i got a loooong process ahead of me. plate as you no is for sale, its getting taken off my vehicle this week. all stickers on my car have been taken off. frontmount might go too

ok, ive taken the interior out of the centerconsole area, your meaning that theres a spring under the ball for the shifter? i tried to moved the ball part round etc but it seemed to have very little play in that area, felt more like a bush at the g box end...
-
my bushes seemed to have collapsed or something just went to downshift from 3rd to 2nd and the lever went loose as and hit the side of the lever boot thingy underneath the plastic panel if you know what i mean.....anyone know exactly whats involved in this? want to sell the car asap, buying me something the cops dont love to inspect.

electirc versions either work of a brake pedal sensor or a sensor hooked up to your brake lights. the real advantage of these is the panic button, eg your trailer starts 2 sway outta control? hit the panic button, and accelerate at the same time. will straighten the trailer way faster. adjustable gain from inside the vehicle too. lots of different options these days, best one ive come accross is the redarc item, with the remote adjuster. either that or sensabrake

askd a cop bout the no circling/no demerits. he says it doesnt matter they only there as a guide, id believe him, one cop didnt circle my demerits, they still got recorded against me. so it doesnt matter where on your bumper your number plate is mounted, its just gotta be flat? ive gotten **** before for having my number plate on the RHS, below my fog light mounted to the bottom lip. he said i couldnt have it there. i said why do alfas have them there then? he told me it was angled wrong and pointing down. so i grabbed it, yanked it and bent it up. "will that do sir?" "yes, i suppose that will be ok" hahahahha
oh, and ive benn done by a hyundai cop on the shore before. so not cool! they got camrys in pukekohe too

you can break steering locks, alternatively if you got a hammer/chisel.dot punch, you can undo the screws holding the barrel onto the steering rack or pipe or whatever you wana call it by dot punching the screws (they got no head to get a screwdriver onto), or, you can chisel your ign barrel and smash it apart, and manually get to the lock from inside the barrel. but thats the rough way lol

Car: 1996 Subaru Legacy RS-B
Mods: Cusco adjustable suspension, HKS silent high power exhaust, 3 inch system Gbox-back, decat, strut brace, advan RG wheels, racepro bov, boost tap (never turned up), front mount intercooler, power steering oil cooler, nolethane bushes
Things u like: looks mean, got heapsa torque, gets people looking, the amount of nice comments people say bout it, the space, white on white JDM goodness
What you dislike: bitch to keep clean, bumper always gets nailed on driveways, pulls cops better than it pulls hoes, not the best on gas, VOD, frontmount lag/pressure loss
Why you brought it: caught my eye, didnt look like any other RS-B id seen, was a really good price, needed a car and wanted turbo. i got 2
What your future plans are: single turbo and/or STI motor conversion, sti front seats, maybe blue pearl the white paint, LSD rear diff

i drove a manual 2001 i think TS-R with a STI exhaust, or at least tip. it sounded mean! best subie ive ever heard, no shit. quite quiet, with a nice burble, no drone
-
last time someone asked about this someone else gave all the common causes of 66. its SOMETHING in the sequential system, i think a couple of the common failure points are primary trubo and blowoff valve, cant remember what else
-
wtf how could anyone think they could sell that? lol
-
especially when you rear end the person in front cuz you aint watching :

cheaper to hire trailer. id probably say 200+? for a tow truck, vs sub 200 to rent a trailer. worked out cheaper for me when i towd my car from coromandel to auckland
-
yeah man sounds like an N/A *vomits*
-
dude its shite when you shift in VOD. becomes universe instead of valley! LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAG
-
