Just gotta mines ecu for my r.a , just a quick question, would the factory tdo5h be ok running 17psi?

I run 18psi on my TD05 no problems.

In your case I would be more concerned with your injectors keeping up with running that much boost. Not 100% sure on the RA but version 2s only came with 380cc injectors.

good to see a refreshing, new debate on the age old "problem" of the "boyracer menace" (its coming to Y O U R town and its killing Y O U R kids!!) ::)

i see some fresh new opinions and ideas being thrown around here guys, its a gin-u-ine meeting of the minds... perhaps you should write a letter to the editor of P-car and have a bitch about how the "boyracers" give you "car enthusiasts" a bad name and it makes you a sad panda, cos thats certainly never happened before either. :'( :'( :'(

or wait, why wait for the cops to impound the boyracer cars and then mufti them up to entrap others into more trouble? cut out the middleman, go to the cruise w/ camera and a notepad, and go narc to the cops yourselves! take the initiave to stamp out this most horrible blight on decent, p-smoking, gang riddled, baby bashing, v8-fcuking, double-standard holding citizens of Aotearoa.

    fcukin wah. get over yourselves.

Well that counts out a couple of your tech mods (nzkaosnz and Koom) then since they don't appear to be paid members (unless there status just hasn't been updated yet).

names put forward to be discussed, and if not already paid, members will be given the opportunity to become a paid before mod rights are allowed

That's good it would be a shame to miss out on good tech mods (that have your backing and the backing of others) on a technicality. ;D

The site seems to have settled down a bit over the last few days.

This seems to be a result of:

    a) Certain mods who weren't very good at modding (mainly cause no one respected them) in the first place either leaving, giving up or refusing to do there modding duties. And this seems to have removed the angst from the forums when said mods got their backs up and start posting s*** up that just stirred everybody up.

Haha although I do see one of the more mature mods (not) that probably fits in the category above has this in their signature now.

I do back you but your just rarking everyone up..

    b) The remaining mods (who are generally good anyway and actually have the respect of users on here) following better guidelines on modding.

I'll throw mine in too for general or off topic, dont give a s**t if i have to get up someone or have give reasons for getting up someone you will get both.

Call me all the names under the sun and ill still sleep at night ;D

and wake up my normal self.

That seems exactly like the positive fair attitude that we need from our mods. F**k em all, like it or lump it......yee ahhh!

Oh wait that's been tried and it didn't work.

It's not about just jumping on a post or a thread all guns blazing. Its about been fair and earning respect so that users don't get pissed off.

If a mod does there job right in the first place there should be little or no name calling and/or abuse.

    add 10 demerit points.

    Thanks

    ::)

I vote this guy for moderator. He's got my respect! :D

Oh and I'm sure I put f*ck which of course was meant as feck.

2c. Your language and the use of profanities.

As its important to us to keep a community atmosphere of a fun and banterous nature, we feel it would at this time be inappropriate to ban all swearing completely due to it being a generally accepted part of the everyday English language in use today. However; we do require a few simple common courtesies be employed:

    • Do not aim the allowed swear words at other individuals; keep them to a bare minimum and also in context.

    • Do not, ever, use swear words in the title of a Topic.

Many swear words are still allowed at the moment. We are constantly reviewing this situation and can assure you that if the swearing leniency is abused we will simply strengthen the swear filter already available in our forum software. Keep it sensible is all we ask. Topics with titles containing swear words will be either.

    • A) Moved to a more suitable room.

    • B) Edited.

    • C) Totally deleted.

The above actions are entirely at the webteams discretion and no explanation will be given.

  6. I just find it funny that this whole thing (as far as I know) started because a mod moved an on-topic, non-offensive, non-controversial, non-negative (i.e. didn't breach the posting rules) thread from the Wellington section to the Chiller for no apparent reason. :o

Said thread was then reviewed by the Club Captain who saw nothing wrong with it and moved it back to the Wellington section. ;D

Can I ask why each of the regional boards has the names of the moderators listed when those mods appear to be able to moderate across all the boards?

Lastly how many mods are there? There seems to be quite a few of them.
