Washed it. Now i can see ALL the dents haha removed budget speaker and amp wiring and . Since its been over gravel for the last 3yrs stripped it and cleaned the boot and interior. Engine bays not to bad but gave it a rough clean

After having my legacy for almost too years.. finally got around to fitting a pod filter.
Make sure its boxed with complete proper air supply from outside, dont want to be sucking the heat from the engine in. Factory can still perform well since its already boxed and has a good cold air supply.
Waiting for engine mounts to show up, replaced all seals incl. the mains.

Actually just brought a hoist today and set it up, the old mans got a old holden v8 that went for a swim so we just pulled the engine/gearbox out, stripping it now and putting the water pump, distributor + gearbox onto another secondhand v8 engine. Need new engine mounts and a few other bits and pieces, gaskets etc but should be in and running by late tomorrow. the old man will be happy to have the v8 back on the road :

hit a bird so had to clean the pulpy blood off the front end cap.
Went so Submarine spares to get another sti foglight cover and brake fluid cap but they were closed.
Took some more photos.
Always wonder why birds love to dive in front of your car when your driving on the motor way.

Paid 3k for another bc5 today. Just gotta wait to go pick it up, probably tomorrow or tuesday.

I know what a V2 RA should have, not sure how different V1 and V2 are but that car doesn't have the 5th injector on top of the manifold or an intercooler spray bottle in the engine bay

Yup, low ks +1. I think its just a normal wrx with lightweight mirrors/handles installed/boot lining removed. I dont think V1/V2 are much different. For future refernce for others. i know the codes are GC8A47D for V1 and GC8B47D for v2. Which btw i found a rather interesting chart for all of you (shown below) and also the MY93 RAs gearbox numbers are TY752VB3BA and MY94 RAs are TY752VB3DA ;D RAs also have nill foglights & nill side skirts.

Sup guys, well ive been looking around for a deal and i think...ive found one. Now as far as i know the australian market never sold RA models but im not 100% sure then i came across this...
Im pretty convinced it is an RA model BUT the owner doesnt state it ? i was pretty suprised to see the roll-up windows, im no expert so maybe they all (GC models) came out with them ? Im going to go around and have a look in the next few days so, can any help me what to look for to ensure that it is or is not an RA model ??

Yep, finally made the move.As for the subbie, cops on the lookout for it in hastings spotted it, they chased them and blocked them in on one of the backroads, cunts didnt want to get out so they locked the doors :
dickheads. Cops had to smash the window to get the bastards out, 3 mungies were in the car at the time, all wearing balaclavas, black hoodies with knives/screwdrivers and other weapons, obviously they were going on a mish somewhere. But yea, dont think they found out it was rwd, no tyre slap or anything still pretty clean, rims are still on aswell and the seats, only thing off the car was the headunit, 6's and 6x9s. Runs pretty rough now though, but apart from that...Shes now in the bros shed getting fully stripped out as major plans are under way, the bro might be posting up pictures and information on the build in a garage thread sometime soon, so keep an eye out....

Cops just rung. Cars been found in hastings ;D ;D Apparently still in one piece aswell ! Going into the station later on so will keep you guys posted on how it turns out and whats been taken

As most you guys know i own a 89 legacy rs. Pictures if it can be seen on my introduction page or my avatar, its been stolen from Rebel sports carpark in napier on Hastings street. Anywhere from 11:50 to 12:30 in the afternoon. Number plate on the car is DJE719. We have checked cameras around the area and unfortuanatly nothing has been found on tapes. Car was locked and all windows were wound up and no smashed window. We have a feeling its been taken up the service lane behind rebels sports, headed towards town then done a u-turn back towards hastings, or possibly taken to a shed in the maraenui area of napier. If anybody knows of its whereabouts or have heard/seen ANYTHING involving the car please let me know, its our baby and its been in the family since day 1. Thanks heaps, Marsh.

My brother converted the rs when he had it. I've had it up on a hoist and the front axles have been removed and both sides have been capped. Can get more info/pics when i see him later this week. Havnt had any issues with getting warrants.

Hadnt been cleaned for about 2 months so cleaned it out and found all sorts of sh*t. a k&n filter which i brought for like $200+, found my 30pc 1/4dr set which has been missing for like a month underneath passengers seat, that came with 2 credit cards and a lighter, f*cking heaps of rubbish, nut/bolts/screws/bulbs, some poor girls shoe and jersey, a few hundreds worth of tools, screwdrivers, verniers etc, a zerosports 90mm pipe, probably 7 month old half full 30g port royal, a bob marley cd, defi gauges boost/water temp, a sander which honestly i dont know where the f*ck that came from and $2.60 haha along with a few other subbie bits and pieces.

Yeap thats right. Some get out the next day or iv even heard some fill out a few forms, give fingerprints and photos and thats them out the same day with given due dates to go to court etc. Unfuckinbelievable.
