Is it full ?? Where did you buy from ? How old is the pack ?? and finally.... will you sell them !!! :D :D

BTW. Shale, isnt that where Colin's Legacy is located right now ?

Oh, Joker, is that where the subbie 22b got its name from ?? damn, never knew history could be this exciting hahaha

  3. I didnt know that '555' actually came from a cigarette brand :o

State Express 555 sponsored the subaru rally team and in return slapped thier stickers all over subbie rally cars from 1993 all the way to 2003. Just a bit of history for those that didnt know.

I used to smoke and havnt had one for about a year now ;D but i probably wouldnt hesitate to try one of these haha

  4. Now im not sure but i think Speedtech motorsport runs dyno tuning for about $250-$300 ??? probably best to call around and talk to them.

Btw, start up a garage thread if you want bro, people love to see what others are doing to their subbies 8)

  5. Damn. If this isnt inspiration to subaru drivers, i dont know what is. Found it while look at the fastfours website. How i wish this was mine ! but then, your cars only as good as you can drive. ;)

Colin McRae is without doubt one of the greatest drivers of our time, and the video below is a sample of his brilliance. It also highlights just how awesome Subaru rally cars are, with no music or commentary to spoil the sound of the RS. This was filmed at the Tour de Corse, Rallye de France in 1993.

And thats with technology *18 years ago.

  6. Fitted wipers, interior lights keep blowing/fuse. Found short in the wires ! not to bad though, fixed up easy and put new bulbs in. New coolant, had an issue of overheating for a few weeks now (30+ mins of running) so that SHOULD sort it out i hope !!

**Just got an e-mail from Grant at plates.co.nz.

New plates boy !!! on layby cause im poor haha cant wait to get em on the rs.

    Another dumb question ::)

What is the hose that comes off my intake pipe after the air flow meter for ? Ill take a few pics soon

    /quote]

been answered before numerous times, but

its a baffle that changes the harmonics of the air going through the intake, smoothing airflow which mainly quietens induction noise i believe, but may also help with part throttle cruise response. theres a much larger one before the airfilter inside the guard. Ichiban will have an accurate job description i'm sure.

Why i ask, is because im going to put in a zerosports item which is straight through and wondering if its important or not, seems to go into a steel pipe and up the other side of the manifold into a unti of some sort

I changed my jamex seat to a fia approved momo one, had to drill some holes and s*** to make it fit, and its a bloody huge chair but it went in. :)

    Pics bro ?

Well, today took front/back wipers off, sanded and re-sprayed. Removed number plates/badges and cleaned under there where it hasnt been touched for 20 years lol, replaced a few old rusty bolts with new ones. Cut wires shorter for horn and put back in. Cleaned up all the bits and pieces sulfer got to with some jiff :) Tiedied up dodgy wiring under the dash. Replaced blown fuse/int. lights. Cleaned air flow meter, runs soooooooooooo much better now, put intercooler piping back on.

BTW. tried looking for the cars id plate or whatever but cant seem to find it ???? its a bc5, usually they are near the front struts ??

  9. Busy day for me...

Put it an hks circle earth system mainly just because it looks better than original looking wires, removed horn, going back in tomorrow. Took starter off, replaced brushes, cleaned up. Replaced clutch spring cause other one disappered. Got the window washers working again - finally. Cleaned back tail-lights, somehow pieces of metal got into them and started rusting inside (??) Removed intercooler piping to attempt straightening, but thats still in progress, took bov off and cleaned. Took off k&n filter, replaced with hks item. Pulled dash apart for work on it tomorrow.
