only the bug eyes to current gets 17" all GC8/GF8 are 16s
this also happened to my mate on his 180 sylvia he also got done for having 18s where his cert plates says 17s. i think this registration is kinda BS, but it is stated in there i remember reading it
Is this on your v7? Doesn't that come with 17s?? Or you changed cars again lol

I think the problem that we all face in NZ is that there are VERY few low cost options (below 2k) for anyone wanting a decent quality direct replacement for a JDM turbo.
I mean if money was no object I would say that the HKS bolt on kit would be the best but when I asked STM they told me the last one they brought in was over 4k.
I never thought I would say this but I am jealous of the yanks, there are so many companies in the US that make bolt on single scroll turbos for their sti's.

Then import one buddy
I think you missed the point there man, they dont work on NZ/JDM cars
why dont they fit? a rim thats 5x100 will bolt on in thailand and nz?
think he meaning the left hand vs right hand drive
think theyre the same bro.
thats what i thought... the only thing differant is the clutch master is on the other side?
they only have a more room for the down pipe, thats about it as our LHD ones the steering column are in the way
-
my mate took her car to maidstone muffers said they replaced it with a brandnew one but turned out they just welded the cracked together and charged her $400 for the uppipe and 100 something for the labour
-
i think jono got one in Tawa... can fit it for you.. can be a easy job or a pain in the as if one of the bolt sized
-
yeah saw that yesterday
-
im very sure that the JDM wrx shares the same loom apart from the manifold looms are different
my first attempt doing the loom on my coupe i used a ver7 wrx loom and all the wiring were the same as the STI ones.
