It does look like there has been some arcing between them

If you can make my one work you can have it for the price of postage

(or if anyone wants it I will do for the price of postage)

PM me man im keen to try it out. may help with the problem im having on mine

  2. Sounds like the same problem i have, mine doesnt worry me as it sits in the driveway due to use of a work car. I really should sort it, and have had a look into it before with @Subirex Automotive and the  few things he said it could be without having the car for too long could be, Neutral position sensor, timing, coil pack, afm, spark plug gap. @axle117 if possible would like to try those leads and coil pack.

Ive seen an Impeza in Christchurch with that hideous front grill and bumper. At least the rest didn't look like this!

Was that the ver 5 or 6 wagon in the same colour? cause theres a guy on instagram that i follow with a really nice one and is mates with Jarred who had the red GC8 on air bags that is currently getting a rotory conversion

Lol...that stuff with the combo of a Sakura filter gives me an extra 20kw...you should try it sometime. Let me know and i'll sell you some :)

That definetly sounds like a TWL salesmans pitch, i use the same stuff, been pretty good for me,

Back to the car, ive heard mixed reviews about the ej257, wouldnt mind the 207 model, its just the boss lady wants something else

  5. ooooohhhhh these new Link's look good, got me thinking all the silly things I could do with them!! anti-lag, launch control, high-low boost settings at the switch of a button, flat shifting. wait on you can get those set up on some stock ecu's??

I really don't see the point in getting the fury when you could get the Black extreme for the same price.

  6. I've had a quick flick through this and had a talk with Murch about using a hx35 for my legacy, he's said there's 2 options that really are the only good options for a Subaru.

The first being a hx35rs with a 12 or 14cm housing as any bigger and it's going to be a laggy pig but will top out around 7k and will get around 250kw with the right supporting mods. The is the single scroll version he said would be a good gymkhana build

The 2nd option which is a hx35/2 with a 12or14cm housing and a good 40mm waste gate would be a better suit for anything up to around 600hp or 400kw, that's with the right mods, this is a twin scroll turbo with ample power through the rev range where he was talking about the set up of them is the most important part of the build on them, I've got a few ideas that we're keeping hush at the moment till I can get it all into action eg; watercooled inter cooler + quad throttle body's

I know il probably get shot down but it's just my throught on these awesome turbos

  7. changed my front passengers side half shaft to find the supplier gave me the wrong one. took dads lil bomb out to the guy to get it swapped out the got it swapped put it back in and notice the gearbox oil filter is loose as, tighten it back up and take a hour to knock the pin back into the inner shaft! grrrrr only hurt 2 fingers and snapped a screw driver

!! pretty good if i say so myself ;D
