[EJ18 Parts]

Ok so my trust old 1990 Wagon with the SOHC EJ18 single point injection has developed a coolant leak. Does anyone have an old EJ18 engine they are parting out, I need the pipe which runs from the heater down to the thermostat housing. not expecting this to be free I will pay $$ for it.

 

Needs to be in good condition with no leaks otherwise I am back to square one

I need to replace the shifter bushes in my 05 legacy, is there anywhere I can get these locally without going to Subaru and losing an arm. BNT don't stock them and I don;t know who else to try.

[2005 BP Legacy Stalls While Driving]

This is a question on behalf of my neighbour, he owns a 2005 BP legacy that love to stall evening while driving i.e. 50kmh.

When it stalls a bunch of lights come on, on the dash but his is simply able to start the car again and carry on. His mechanic has apparently looked at cam angle sensors but cannot find anything and after spending a few grand they are reluctant to spent anymore and not get an answer.

Would appreciate it if anyone has any ideas I can pass on.

[Removing AC Compressor]

I have a coolant leak in the metal pipe that runs under the AC compressor, I have removed all of the bolts to the compressor and alternators , belts etc. I can get the compressor to wiggle up and down but god if I can get it to come out.

Any tricks on doing this?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
