Swapped back to TD04 this morning as the seals on my VF30 decided to pack up.

sounds like its in limp mode. seeing as its not throwing codes i would be leaning towards the afm being shot. if you have access to a multimeter you can test it with car on and see what voltage it is reading. im sure marky will know what voltage it should be reading at idle and WOT

Just love the classic shape, so V6 for me. some of the V11 hatches look epic especially in white with all the sti goodies. Love the car Flat4 wish mine looked that good haha

Yeap car was locked and alarmed. He was looking through my driivers side window with a torch just as i got there, very lucky.

Was mere minutes away from having my car stolen about 10 minutes ago, had just got home and went back outside to grab my phone from the car these f****rs were pulled up right next to it in a silver forrester and one of them was looking through the drivers side window. Saw them yelled abusively then tried to grab the ba****d but he jumped into the passenger side of the forry. Only managed to grab three letters of the plate BKT*** i know not of much use. Tried chasing them down but by the time i started the car they were long gone... feeling very lucky and at the same time very pissed off! >

I know you said not finished but with your current height looks like it comes down very low are you going to pull it up a bit?

Hey guys,
So these rims and tyres came with the car when i bought it last year in January, the are 215/40/18 on a 18x7.5" rim. Apparently previous owner bought rims off trademe and were advertised to be mint but he ended up receiving them with extensive curb damage to one shown here:
As only this rim is that curbed it hasnt really bothered me until now as my current tyres are on their way out and need some new ones. (Looking at either some RE002s or some Eagle F1\'s)
So does anyone know of a decent place to get rim repaired and get new tyres at the same time? I realise this is a bit of a long shot but i dont have a spare set of rims that i can use while this is getting repaired. Also does anyone know roughly how much im looking at to get this repaired? (Have sent off some emails to places in Auckland just thought i would post up here and see if anyone has an idea)
Also does anyone have any idea what rims these are? There are no markings on the inside off the rims? ???
Cheers in advance,
Max

Pulled front and back seats and gave the wrx a super clean inside and out . Fixed leaky spoiler hole, almost had a lake in my boot from the rain recently. Pulled fuel pump checked the sock, cleaned afm, made the snorkelectomy a little shorter lots more spool sounds Haha. A good afternoon in the sun!!

Long time no update. You still planning on new engine etc?
Has been a while haha just been lurking in the shadows recently haha. Yeap in the "planning" stages of a build but funds are somewhat limited at the moment busy as with uni stuff. Hopefully will get a block in the next month or two but still kind of deciding on what route i want to take. Keen to see what numbers yours pulls with the retune man.

Hey guys just had my Gizzmo MS2 arrive yesterday and plan on installing it myself on Sunday.
Just wondering do i keep the stock solenoid in its position with all the lines still and just tap into it?
Or would i just lose it completely and put the new solenoid in its place. Kind of confusing myself here so thought i would ask.
Cheers,
Max

Removed the little td04 today to make way for the vf30, full service as well. looking at getting one of those Gizzmo MS2 ebc\'s too.

Hey guys i have an aftermarket downpipe fitted at the moment but it does not have a bung straight after the turbo i was wondering if i could move the O2 Sensor to the up-pipe as there are bungs there? Or will i just have to get a bung welded into my downpipe? Stock ecu.
Cheers

Hey there semi related, i am about to do an ecu swap on my nz new 99 ver 6 wrx. I was wondering if you ever figured out the problem with running the ecu? ive read elsewhere that with the audm ecu's they had to change around the cam and crank sensors around pins a5 and a6 on their ecu?
cheers
