Yes the pedal is stiff\firm quite annoying when in traffic as its hard to judge and you end up giving more revs than you need too.

Update - Lubricated the pedal box for the accelarator seems abit better.. Took a drive to Puke yesterday, car is really good, suspension really soaks up bumps compared to airtrek, also it may be not as fast on take off compared to airtrek but makes up for this in ingear accelaration is awesome Does any one know how to chnage the info from km\litres to litres per km in the intrument cluster? cheers

One would think so, but soon as you sign on the dotted line it appears to be driver issues. I did address it with the dealer but they insist its a performance car and I need to get used to the SI drive settings and the throttle position. Apparently they have sold quite a few and say all are the same...

Hi Guys Are the pivots in the pedal box and the control shafts the same thing, another day in traffic with a sticky throttle not good cheers

Hi Coming into work this morning sat in traffic for almost an hour, I started to notice my accelerator pedal becoming sticky. When taking off in 1st gear it became hard too balance, you initially press the pedal and there\'s slight friction and then it over revs. I know this is not normal as it does not do it from cold and I don\'t want to be riding my clutch. any ideas? cheers

Will pick up the car today, the dealer has agreed to give me cash $500 towards cam belt, so I booked in at Subtech close to work for me next Tuesday for complete cambelt kit and service I will pay the difference. should give me peace of mind. look forward to a meet soon. cheers.

Deal done on the car,dealer agreed to do cambelt only at the agreed price. So will send for big service next month so hopefully it will last me another five years.

Hi Test drove another legacy GT today,this one is also a 2006 model but when accelerating seemed to be surging not sure what that was about possible could be type of fuel or lack of is the fuel indicator light was glowing before i set off. Can anyone explain what is the green triangle that flashes in the instrument cluster, the dealer could not explain this too me, also can the Japane graphics be changed or setup not to display. Yeah I will think about it over the weekend too, If it was not already 95K on the clock I would have picked it up by now as I would not have to worry about cambelt for at least 6months but I know I will clock up mileage fast. So will wait until next week. cheers

Thanks for the advice guys, dealer rang me this morning. Car is sold as where is NO cambelt change . So something for me to think about.

I have since spoken to the dealer this avo and have suggested he does the cambelt and waterpump for his asking prices or take off 1K. I am in no hurry. Thanks for the advice gents.
