Hi all, just came into a bit of money and looking at getting a boost controller. As most of the stuff in my car is HKS i thought about the EVC5 which i see retails for about $1100 which is a bit pricey, i have also seen 2nd hand EVC4s on TM for about $600 or even a HDi one which comes with boost gauge for about $360. Just wanted everyones opinions on what they have and what they though are is a good option and what i should look for to best suit my car and also how much boost i can safely run, only have air filter, exhaust and front mount upgraded oh and does anyone know what factory boost cut is? thanks

this is what mine looks like...to be honest i had no idea what i was looking for so thats why i took some pics. So a straight swap of ECU will not give me any gains in anyway of the standard one?

thanks guys, yeah iv seen those wheels on everything from subarus to crappy corollas and had 2nd thoughts before buying them but when they came up on a TM auction for $500, i had to buy them. got some great rubber on them too. also just got a STi pink letter badge which ill be swapping for the aerospec one on the front so keep posted for more pics

finally got a pic with the wheels on, only time before the adjustys go in and it gets dropped

im thinking about powder coating the pipes black to give it an even more stealth look as well as getting someone to design me a cold air box (any suggestions or any made one that could do one for me???) for the filter which will also be powder coated. Filter will need a box or a decent source of cold air because it does get quite toasty in there after a good blat around town

just got some new wheels and rubbers on it so will upload photos after the next time i wash it, was running 215/60/16s on the standard 16s but now running Adrenalines RE001 235/45/18s on Advanti Medusa 18x7.5
