You can get all this fake stuff from aliexpress.com including cusco catch cans, greddy bov for like $30 shipped including a bunch of other shit. Need to be real careful of what you are buying
-
For that price I would say it is not genuine.
Genuine HKS are like 300-400 dollars.
-
Would a sway bar from a gc8 fit a bg5? and what about suspension?
-
Mine would work even before I hit 0 psi. Mine isn\'t adjustable though.
Are you sure its genuine? Some of the fakes look convincing.

Put these bad boys in
Had to remove the k brace to fit them. Haven\'t driven the car yet so can\'t comment on any improvements.
-
would these work with a \'k\' brace?
-
Wrapped the dash surround in Carbon Vinyl. Looks so much better, previous owner had painted it a primer colour.
Does anyone know what those little vents next to the heater dials are for? I\'m thinking it\'d be easier to just cover them.
-
Any progress with this mate?
-
No one will guarantee no paint cracking. Look up autostance on facebook. Did mine for $20 a guard. I think GT Ref only charge around $35 or so per guard but they\'re real busy.
-
Just where the stereo is. I think its sideways.
Not too sure for A/F gauge. I don\'t think the ones without the sensor work too well. Look into something like an Innovate LC-1 if you\'re really keen.
-
I just ran the vac line through the firewall and mounted the sensor behind the dash lol. Used the same 12v and earth as the gauge.
-
I can\'t remember it exactly off the top of my head but I think I did this.
Gauge:
Red = Constant 12v
Black = Ground
Orange = 12v switch
Green = Sensor
Boost sensor
Red = Constant 12v
Black = Earth
White = Gauge
I didn\'t have instructions so I just played with it till it worked.
-
Is it an Orange AFM? You can come and try the one on my car. Located south side.
-
What\'s the usual charge for replacing a front main seal?
-
That\'s for the STi Genome / Defi gauges. Does not control boost.
Does your car have the gauges where the clock is supposed to be?
-
Could be a v ltd. They came with a roof scoop and in blue.

Ok, cool. Also, is there any particular oil to use? I\'ve just been told use a full synthetic 75w-90 and stay away from Redline oil.
-
Just reviving this thread to ask if an r180 takes more oil than an r160? If I get 5L of oil for transmission and rear diff would it be enough? Car is v3 STI RA.
-
I\'ve never driven one but I think it\'s safe to say that the v7 wrx would be pretty slow.
The BOV goes off easily on a GTB because the primary turbo spools pretty much at idle.
-
Secure the hose with a zip tie.
-
A caramel wheel is great for getting residue off paint.

Your car looks very nice Roo. I need to do something similar with my bumpers lol. My front looks like it\'s going to fall off any moment.
-
Did an oil and filter change on my car today, I normally use a Ryco Z495 filters but used a black genuine Subaru one this time. The Subaru filter is a a lot smaller the Ryco. Is this normal or did I get the wrong Subaru filter? It fit perfectly though.
-
Looks very nice! Makes me want to desperately go twisted turbo and flipped manifold.

Is this internal wastegate welded shut?

hey, guys I\'m selling my turbo and was told the wastegate was welded closed when I bought it. After taking it off it doesn\'t look like it. Any ideas?
Cheers guys.
