Are u planning Ecu change next?

Probably next year but not yet. The engine spits oil from the BOV when and driver\'s side heads knock when cold. I want to rebuild/forge it. Then a G3 or G4, fuel pump, injectors.

Still need to get it certed as well...

Full time student + only working few hours a week = not a lot of money to spend on cars :(

  2. I\'m not too sure, just going by what I was told. In the little box bottom right it says Less boost, Out of injectors and fuel pump, det.

I was actually running 20 PSI during the beginning but we had to turn it down to 18.5 because the tuner said it was too lean to even do a pull.

(I was boosting around on 20 psi the day before....oops!)

  3. It will run 7 psi if you have set it up to run wastegate pressure. Any form of boost control introduced will raise the boost pressure. I don\'t think it is a good idea to run an external waste with a boost controller that you cannot adjust.

When I switched from my internal wastegate to an external wastegate. The boost was raised about 2-3 psi with no adjustment made to the boost controller. I had to dial that back down with my electronic boost controller.

One fun fact that I learned is that if you run wastegate pressure and a screamer pipe you can hear that the wastegate is opening much sooner than what the spring is set for. I.E. with my 11 psi spring I could here the screamer as early as 4 psi.

  4. Replaced the swaybar with a whiteline 22mm thanks to evowrx for a mean deal.

Old one looked pretty beef so I put the new one on at the stiffest setting. And fark me gave it a little bit of gas out of a corner (not boosting) and I could feel the rear unsettling. Definitely need to give it a go down Twilight rd this weekend.

  5. Wastegate could of caked it. Try free boosting it and see if you can go above wastegate pressure. BE EXTRA CAUTIOUS IT WILL SPOOL AS FAST AS POSSIBLE.

Also wouldn\'t hurt to check all the grounds and vac hoses again.

Hook up 12v to the solenoid and see if you can hear it click.

Might be a long shot but if you have the filter on the vac hose going to the controller hose try removing it and see if it makes a difference.

I\'ve been down this road too.
