Have this same problem. Had a couple of mechanics have a look and output bearing has been mentioned. Going on prices a second hand gearbox will probably be cheapest as a strip and rebuild was eye watering and don't really want to be off the road for long. Could also be thrust/release bearing in the clutch? Just my two cents

Hey guys I have been noticing recently when the car is parked on a moderate uphill incline on a hot day and the fuel tank is fullish that there is fresh petrol dripping from under the right rear quarter panel on to the ground. This is the side with the filler cap.

I was thinking maybe the vent is at its lowest when the car is parked like this and with the very hot days it may be escaping out of the fuel tank vent. But does seem to be more than the fumes I would expect... it is definitely coming from behind the panel somewhere not the filler cap.

Any ideas? Cheers in advance!

Also dont forget to clean the lampholders, had a few issues with what I thought were blown bulbs were actually bad contacts from the moisture. Just sayin

Seems mine was snipped as well but just wondering which way do you think is open completely? I would imagine cable pulled all the way up?

Have this at the moment some days worse than others. Noticed if I come in and not idle before turning off the engine it can require a bit of cranking to start. Heaps of power when cranking just takes a bit to start.
