  1. Hmm ok Ill just do a downpipe replacment. It does seem to be a safer option also.

  3. Thanks I Appreciate both of your inputs guys. It\'s a 1995 model so I thought because the downpipe is rusted and worn thin the rest of the turbo wont be all that far behind. If I can source a new exhuast system including turbo downpipe then that would also be really neat. However Since Im going to be in the turbo nabourhood I thought I might as well refresh the whole thing and buy a new one. Also if the new exhaust system does not fit will the shop weld and fit it for around the same price? Yea man Im gona do more research too,
  4. I\'m looking to buy a complete new turbo setup including downpipe,mid pipe,up pipe etc. Im running a stock V2 sti apart from a blitz bov (non recirc). The stock turbo downpipe has worn thin and broken loose ( Would I be losing much boost here? ) so Instead of replacing it Im going to replace entire turbo and pipes. I dont want to do a performace upgrade so to speak, I\'m just looking for another turbo of equal or slightly greater power running 15-16psi so I wont have to upgrade anything else right away. I\'m not sure what the stock turbo is but I\'m thinking a good safe turbo to put in would be a TD05 20g? If I go with the TD05 20g anyone know if Ill need to do alot of welding or are the pipes for this turbo the same as my stock? Or any idea what turbo setup would be a safe easy swap over? I dont have much details on the current turbo or pipes other than there stock and worn out. I\'f its possible to bolt on a an sti v6 intercooler then Ill replace my intercooler too if need be. Thanks for any info or opinions
  5. Ok found problem, Turbo downpipe and manifold are old rusted and loose. I\'m just going buy a new turbo set up altogether. Thanks for taking interest. I\'ll post again once I find a suitible turbo and install it.
  6. I think it might be a hose or somthing but at about 13pounds my boosts just gets dropped somwhere and its not the BOV. Also heard a very small backfire when taking off at around 0.3 pound twice. I\'ll open the bonnet tomoro when the sun comes up. I know you can lose boost just about anywhere but would the details provided indicate any particular area? Its a v2 sti ej20 stock.
