Is the car insured for "market value" or "agreed value"
-
Yes, ask at your local muffler shop and tel them what you're after. I'm sure they'de be keen to help
-
If you've done it enough to get them smelling hot then I'd guess that you've bedded them. Its mostly to progressively get them hotter and hotter (i.e. nice steady braking to warm up slowly rather than standing on it ) so that the entire pad can get heat through it without heating too quickly on the outer surface without allowing the full depth of the pad to get up to temp.
How many heat cycles does Ferodo recommend for those pads though? We've had issues before with some of the Ferodo's but that was mostly down to the space monkey's that were behind the wheel.

the sticker thing that came with the pads says do it once. i might do a third set from 100 to 10kph.

ej20H is reliable, my gt wagons done 206K now and myself and prev owners have always serviced it. Been thrashed within reason, been serviced and been good, touch wood.
As said, service well and all should be fine.

If i can stand in front of my legacy and describe how to do the plugs and then my missus does it without help, and right first time...they must be easy to work on.

Wondering how the 'ol mechanic I use wants to charge so much then.
If boostin checks in, would like to know how much Subaru charges as standard rates too (just quietly of course)
EDIT - sorry Keltic on topic we go

when i first got my legacy, it seemed to but so confusing under the hood, now everything is a breeze to work on. Changing spark plugs is easy once you have done it once.

I agree in full with your thoughts on that matter., even someone not very mechanically minded like me can do it.
Is their a Spark plug replacement guide on our forum? Never come across it yet? Would be very helpful
So how long then to change sparks on a TT?
approx?

B4 2000']
Sorry for the late update. Got ahold of him using a new SIM card, he answered and got bit of a shock when I told him who I was haha. He started off denying that it was a TD04, but once I told him that it was clearly stamped on the compressor housing he got huffy and told me that I could never prove to anyone that the TD04 was the turbo he sent me and hung up..smooth
sure you could prove that

b]I have a VF22 foe sale, took it off my 2000 wrx[/b] to replace with a T70,
Offers
go to subaru and ask them to give you something prove that a 2000 wrx comes with a TD04 not a VF22, and go to cops and show them this and even try to contact him at the police station so they can hear the call.
or is there a way to get the chasis number of the car it was factory fitted to by using the numbers stamped on the turbo??
don't know if what i said seems logical but he ripped you off and you need to get every dollar you paid back
unfortunately cops will most likely tell you to bugger off as its a "civil" dispute, in my exp anyway, still give it a go though

I can't hold my tongue any longer... Not being a stick in the mud, but this really is b]not Club related[/b]. If you think you know someone, or your sister knows someone, or your live in uncle knows someone thats gang related then, well... you're very tuff
what do you want? A try harder gangster patch or sumthing... I do wonder.
Much love
yea i was thinking the same thing lastnight while reading this.
makes you guys sound like idoits, if you wana talk bout illegal gang repo services and how many gang members you know, then arent you cool, do it in pms not where everyone can read it. not a good look.
or harden up and pay a visit yourselves. : :
wasnt this brought thru CS therefore it is a club matter(apologies if this is wrong)
its not illegal, anyone can be a repo person, my mates owns a tow truck buisness and all he needs is a signed peice of paper to repo a car..
also Gang members are people to, they just appear to be more staunch and scary...if you dont know them, which obviosly you know none - hence having the winge.
Hey dubbed, yes gang members are people too, and appear to be staunch and scary, cause they are.I have known many gang members over the years and if you're trying to say that gang members are legite, then perhaps you are alittle naive. Repo man is both legal and ness. When repo man is gang member(sometimes line blurrs here) then well, yes they do appear as very nice chaps. just be on the right side if them .
