    Yep. Fits.

    V7/8 struts fit as well.

Removing The front subframe spacers between chassis and engine support frame correct steering angle after lowering and reduce bumpsteer. You'll also need to adjust the gearbox mounts. Wrx rear shifter bushing and some manipulation to the steering knuckle needed. Or just use roll centre adapters. Tbh, I just felt with the bumpsteer in my sf5.

Alloy control arms and STI front swaybar is a good move as well, stick in a rear strut brace to help out with rear end flex.solid swaybar links ftw. Subframe lockdown bolts stop the floaty feeling in the ass under hard cornering as the subframe slips side to side in the mounts.

Thanks for that. Seems like alot of work to get the suspension to work properly :-/ it already has alloy control arms and yeah looking at buying front and back. It isnt as bad as i remembered it to be but some bigger sway bars will help alot and when i get the new brakes in it will be handling alot better. Then i will have to move onto power upgrades haha it feels so slow.

The thread will be meaningless when the trademe auction expires. For future reference ...

    "Brand: Tora SureStop

Features - Multiple Slots - Dippled DrilledDimpled + Multi Slot Brake Rotors are becoming more popular everyday. You get the looks of a drilled + slotted rotor without the holes."

    Thanks!

I think the Rage stuff is still available but it costs quite a bit more, never really looked into it after I got my GeNome axle back.

it is a tad loud if you go full rage as well but i dont want that. I just want something that flows better. Get some more torque. Dont just want it for the sound.

Tried to buy one for my SG9 (same shape as SG5) and they are no longer made I was told but they still haven't removed it from their website.

Pretty dumb! I was basically told to buy the WRX system and have custom changes made, extend the downpipe etc etc. At that point I really couldn't be bothered.

Thats annoying. I know a few years ago i got a rage down pipe for my 03 forry so i wonder if they still do it. Might be worth a try.

Same as what I put on my GF8 except for a forrester.

Harley (94 leone) put on one his gc8 the other day - had same problem as me - the gearbox mount was about an inch off (could get around it by using a spacer) and we both didn't use the extra bolt on hanger it comes with

They sound alright thought - i was going to cut the rear muffler off and replace with a decent quality muffler

Thanks!! sounds like i might have to find a down pipe and hopefully my mate will make a whole new exhaust for me. Now i just have to find a down pipe for a forester

For what it's worth if you went to a V7/8 wagon or a BP legacy you'd have a much nicer car and far less of a timebomb for the same $$

Depends on the reasoning for it but I am assuming you'd be wanting a reliable quick daily rather than a rocketship with a big boot

Ive been trying to search for a nice v7 wrx with low ks. I missed one a while back. I should of brought it but couldnt get there in time. I would like something with abit of speed + the car is only as reliable on how well you look after it. Ive never had a big problem with any of my subies (knock on wood)

If it were me I'd hold out for a V7 wagon instead, you can get that power out of them easy and the resale will be much healthier

That said I'm a bit cagey on anything modified, why would you sell a car with a brand new rebuild and all that gear

    My 2c anyway

Good point im the same as well but i need a wagon no as a 4 door is to small. Maybe he just wants a sedan?? Could be anything
