[CannonBall Run 2015]

Hey guys,

Anyone in the Waikato Region heading up to Auckland for CannonBall run this year? Last year on the way up there I passed heaps of people making the commute.

Turning it into a group cruise could be an idea.

Anyone keen?

I used black wrinkle paint when I rebuilt my engine to try something different. It actually comes up really nice. The texture and appearance is surprisingly nice, considering it was just a $20 Repco can. I'll throw up some photos for you in the morning.

Ahk. Yeah swapping the top hats for GC8 ones does the trick right? Any way to rectify the camber issue?

Hey everyone. I've read a couple of threads on this but no one seems to have a substantial answer on how the suspension aspect of the car is affected, or if it works at all. I'm wanting to put V7 or V8 STi struts in my Version 5 STi. I tried with V8 ones a while back. The fronts bolted up no problem but the rears seemed longer that the GC8 ones? I'm sure the would have bolted up but we were in a rush so I ditched them for standard GC8 KYBs again.

Has anyone done this? Any advice?

Did a compression test. Cylinder 2 is looking good.
