Subaru Fast is the catalog program from Subaru. What the car actually is.
Scooby Projects is a program someone has worked out from info from the internet. Not exactly accurate.
I know which one I trust.
Edit - and the same body model can be seen in the top right corner of the pic I posted.

Because you honestly believed it.
I'm not saying you're bullsh*tting, I'm just letting you know the spec your car came from factory as. No spite or malice intended.

Right, the vehicle above has injectors listed as 16611AA100.
My 94 GT EJ20H auto has greys, and also comes up as 16611AA100.
It's looking like greens are aftermarket....

That's so weird. I've never seen greens. It seems strange to have an injector between 380cc and 440cc. 440's are only a 16% increase over 380's, and the ECU can adjust fuel delivery by +/- 25%, so in theory you can fit yellows to an engine meant for greys, and the ECU will reduce injector duty to compensate on cruise, but would have 16% more fuel on boost.

it was strange,i showed lots of ppl cos they didnt think it was right
it was runing vf20-21
i have a look for them today
and take a photo

Also the only BG's to get EJ20R's and yellow tops are MANUAL GTB's. Auto GTB's indeed got the grey top EJ20H, but as stated above, they look the same as 20R's.
bull sh#t i seen EJ20R auto's run green tops..
-
I'm sure I've seen the purple AFM on BG's too, and I think they have the smaller 3 pin plug.
your right on the money with that..
ej20h run the purple AFM with grey injectors and yes the purple AFM have the small 3 pin
the ej20r run the orange AFM with yellow/GREEN injectors YES GREEN seen them i 5 cars now..

And for the record, i think if you thrash your car with full boost gear changes for two to three months straight you will stuff it no matter what gas you are putting in there. Clubsub guys seem to think putting in the best oils and fuel gives you a license to thrash, when sadly it doesnt..
/quote]
I pay for it and i'll drive it whatever way i choose, and i do thrash my car, it gets an absolute raping when im racing and i have broke parts yes, but i have also broke parts on other cars that have never been thrashed. you cant win em all, just like the person who always uses top shelf oil/petrol and does a beb, just hope that the preventive maintenance works,
At the end of the day you can put 91 in it, just dont complain in the futur like my car did a bottom end bearing or i brouhgt some cheap oil ($10 for 4L at the whari) and then wonder why your motor is stuffed.
here here to that ;D

Like i've said many times before, octane rating is also known as an anti knock rating.
Lower octane is less resistant to knock, or detonation, detonation occurs when the mixture is put under high stress, such as high heat, or high pressure. Or both. Turbo's create both. THIS ALSO MEANS, if you drive like a fricken nana, you are neither over heating the mixture, or applying excessive pressure to the mixture, and thus won't suffer from the negative effects of low octane. I drive my car on 95 every now and again, when i have to. When i do, i turn down boost, and don't floor it everywhere.
If you flaw it consistently on 91, don't expect to be driving home.
Also don't listen to GTB36, his car's tuned to run on 91, or something like that. He aslo claims not to nana drive, but his anecdotal evidence of having no ill effects with 91 seems to suggest otherwise.
your a egg go read back iam not talking about my bh5 with the link!! : :
i have said 2-3 time now my old standed bg5 gtb.. :

End of the day its your car, you can do what you want with it.
Personally I would rather pay the extra $5 -$10 a week to run 98 for piece of mind as we all know how much turbo subaru's like to blow up and run big end bearings
$5-10 what a joke more like $40-60 aweek for me i use 4-6 tanks a week pmsl

So if its such a conspiracy, why don't you continue to use it? Take it for a thrash, tow a trailer for a while and see how good 91 really is....
Of course your car is still going to run on it, it's just not going to do good things once your engine gets hot and you get some boost up it. Or I could be part of the conspiracy of making you pay more so that it doesn't take as much to clean up the gulf and run wars etc.
