Ok as some of you may have seen there have been a set of heads on trade me that were perfect for my rebuild soooo I brought.

That Action was for a "1993 wrx ra" set of heads which is v1 also with 3 working pistons and one busted.
If anyone has any information or advice Please post!
i stand up for dip308 any day i done deals with him a lot
and he is one of the honest guy i no on trade me and off..
you just have to look at the guys feed back to no that..

If it's bringing up a 66 that would suggest that the lines arent quite right I would have thought, I dont think this will be an easy fix for you, I'd suggest taking it to an actual Subaru workshop and getting them to look over it - it'd probly be your safest bet.

yep i say air leak or line not right yet.
best one it find a going b4 and park next to your side be side and do one line at a time..

oh and i just sold a ej20r block from a 97 gtb auto .. and the vin plate had ej20r and same auto number as vin!

I have never seen an EJ20R auto.
And red and green turbo injectors?? Reds are for BD/BG 2.0 and 2.5 N/A. They're only about 200cc. I've never seen or heard of greens.
well my old 98 gtb bg5 was a ej20r block auto and had green injectors
i still have 3 of the green injectors so i put a photo of them tomorw runing vf 20 and vf21
my mate had a ej20r block as well 96 gtb auto but had grey injectors
with orange air flow he runing vf18 and 21

my 96gt-b has yellow injectors and orange air flow
but it doesn't have the Bilsteins or the Bilsteins badge. (has adjustable)

So it will have the EJ20R engine and manual gearbox, making it a GTB. Suspension can be easily swapped and badges removed.
but ej20r block can be auto or manual!! and run green or yellow injectors

Just wondering what AFM and injectors a 96 GTB would have. Im thinking they would have the yellows, but would they have the orange AFM also?
if your is a ej20h block you should have grey injectors and purple afm
but if your a ej20r block you should have yellows or green injectors and orange afm

well i full up on 98 and did 430km's to the tank :-[ well tha sucked and cost me !!! back to good old 91 now ;D
