  3. There's your problem. The ECU doesn't know what octane you're running, it just knows if it's detting or not. It takes several tanks of 98, or an ECU reset to get a difference in gas milage. If economy is an issue, yeah, give it a big service. New air filter, upper engine clean, new fuel filter, new spark plugs, Oil and filter change (Do your oil and filter every 10,000K's at least) Maintenance is key. no way its has to be 5,000k's i have lots of mates do oil at 10,000k's and there do beb i do oil 5,000k's and never done a beb

  5. the other legacy ,was imported and i was the 1st owner as iam with my new gtb.
  6. mate dont pu## your self to much!! 1st it wasnt about my car i wont to no what km's per tank ppl getting as i was runing on 91 then you guys get all jumpy!! :-\ :-\ 2nd iam a framer ok and work was done for me if i new a link was a biggy at the start i would have told all.. :-* :-*
  7. well sir, i start this to see what ppl get km's from a tank or gas i wasnt about my gtb i didnt do the work so its not a biggy for me i just drive it.. oh my old gtb run on 91 and it was standed
  8. so now it has a link ecu as well, that would explain alot lol. i dont care what you think aye at end of the day it runs mine on 91 and get good km's per tank! : well i dont care what you think either lol point is you have a tuneable link ecu which you hadnt mentioned, so that explains why you can run it and get good kms. oh i get you now lol well i was told i had to go with a link to run the strocker kit

  11. it just be low comp as iam runing 1.3 bar boost that 18.85 psi How are you running that much boost?? A factory twin turbo won't usually run that much. Do you have an aftermarket boost controller? SURE do
  12. Ok so your one of the FEW people that have had no problems, I have seen many melted pistons and buggered big ends from doing this, but hey who am I to judge lol its all good and as i sead i full up on 98 and reset my ecu and see what km's i get

  18. are you for real! 550-570km's for 53-55lt's not guzzle i say that pritty good!! but i tell you wont to see you guys are worng .. i reset my ecu and full up on 98 when i go up to chch on boxing day and see what kms i get..

  21. well mate! if you been reading i been runing 91 in 2 suby now for 130-135,000kms on 91 and never miss a beat and its not being a tight prick!!! at all and if it true about 91 running my gtb at 1.3 bost it show up .. but it runs mint!!
  22. no but the 1st day i got it ,it did the bottom end so when i got new motor with stroker kits and all i run it in on 98 then when i did 11,000kms i re set ecu and run it on 91 runs mint and boots 1.3bar
