  2. just wondering if my legacy is the only one like this, but i recently replaced my breaks rotors and pads and wondered if the feel in the pedal is still meant to be soft like you don't feel any pressure for like an inch an inch and a half. was like that before i changed the pads and rotors that's why i did them and it still feels the same now lol, i don't know if i'm overreacting or there is some merit in wondering.

any help would be much appreciated

The 4th digit of an applied model code refers to is 'revision', not its sub model. A BD5C is a Rev C BD5. The model specific part of the applied model code is the last 2 digits. STi's for example are ED, so GC8F4ED is a Rev F (or version 5 to impreza owners) 4 door STi. A GC8E58D is a Version 4 5 door wagon WRX. Beast is a BG5C5ED, a B= Legacy, G= second gen wagon, 5=2L 4wd, C= C version or rev C, 5=5door, ED=Limited. So if that BD has an applied model of BD5C4ED, then it is a limited from factory, but you'll find it's actually a BD5C48D, which is standard RS, with standard bumper like this one:

Plate into car jam reveals its vin is BD5-031502, punch that into fast and you find it has an applied model of: BD5C48D, complete with EJ20R, TY752VBCAA and so forth. http://www.carrol.ru/_pages/subaru/index.php?st=40&l=bWFya2V0PT1qYXBhbnx8bWM9PUIxMXx8aGFuZD09SjJ8fGRmPT0xOTk2MDYwMHx8ZHQ9PQ%3D%3D

man oh man that was a lot of information, very interesting but most of that flew way over my head lol
