[hunting idle??]

waiting on a longer hose evowrx

inlet manifold seems all gd tight as well sealed

if the cylinder valves were not sealing would it not have showen up on the comp test

car has a mind of its own...

depending on what mood its in

one minute its fine

next it will barely idle...

so had bov valve off clean reseal/ reset worked a bit but still hunting (dropping almost stalling) before it will idle normal

so a step closer as i have something of an idle..

also changed the plugs for platinum ones this morn

ther was a mix of plugs in there from previous owner

yeah had the iac off n cleaned her ,,, even had another 1 on ther 2 c but no change....

she warms up fine

after short drive

wont sit at her normal heartrate

keeps dropping down almost stalling

iv tried the o2 sensor ,,no joy,,

will try a longer hose 2 the maf when i find 1

..was thinking mabee the bov could be sticking..

ay she is a hoorna short lyk

ther was no air cone on it when i got it

and it took a bit ov jiggerdy pokery 2 get it to sit under the hood

will try find a longer pipe

got a 97 sti wagon

twisted turbo bov 38mm wastgate screamer pipe setup

has developed a hunting idle

iv checked maf , all sensors , iac , checkd compression all of which is good

anybody got any ideas?? i was thinking mabee a vacum issue as the rocker breathers

and crank breather have not been plumbed in by the previous owner when the intercooler

was moved to the front

car drives swt apart from the weird idle

any thoughts??
