You can't import any of those. They aren't emissions compliant.
A 2005 WRX might just, just be compliant but it's bloody rare for turbo Subarus pre roughly 2009 to be OK.
2004 earlier, not a chance, the standard they have to meet only existed from 2005.
oh right....is there anywhere online that i could check out the specifics of those regulations? and do you think a B4 GT Turbo would pass emissions?

yeah i always thought that colour looked amazing on the 1st gens

cheers for the links man, that 99 sti is beautiful!!

yeah it looks like anything over 100km over there goes for a lot cheaper so might have a look into a higher mileage car

Haha i know all to well about Celia Wade's cycle plan for wellington, she would be happy to have them all gone. rich does not imply i am rich it is an abbreviation for Richard. and im not whinging, i acknowledge i screwed up, but of course if there's a way out of the fines i want to at least attempt having a go at avoiding them.

do you send a letter or go to a police station? i got the ticket through a wellington city council parking warden

Hey guys
looking for some advice here. yesterday i parked my un-warranted Sub on a public road in wellington, and got absolutely destroyed with fines. $200 for: Operated an unlicensed motor vehicle-parked vehicle and another one issued at the same time for: No evidence of vehicle inspection also $200. now i have heard that i could write a letter saying that i am a poor student and provide evidence that i have now got a warrant and possibly get the fine waived or i could go to court but i am not sure what the costs or risks are involved with doing that. any help would be greatly appreciated cheers.

yeah i would go for the manual aswell, but with only 800 being made they will be pretty difficult to get hold of.

hi there, new to the forum. a friend in japan has offered me the opportunity to buy a 2001 sti forester. naturally i am very interested in his proposition. thing is i cant seem to find anything about them, i found a little bit about the sti type m which is the manual model, however this is the auto and i can find very little about it. this article states a 0-100 time of 5.8 for the type m http://www.neweraimports.com/Nebusis/pictures/pdfs/507-2001SubaruForesterSTiIITypeM.No.393of800.ManualTransmission.Black(47A).pdf . but i have no clue how fast the auto would be. any information would be much appreciated
