Did a compression check on the engine I'm going to put in my lepracy. got the All clear so now I've gotta strip some more parts from it, clean the block (motor came from a burnt out shell) and then start reassembling all the bolt on parts. Can't wait to finally put it in the hole

My soon to be daily driver 05 gtb. Bit of a current project at the moment. Bought it not running,swapping out motor, driveline and struts from an 07 gtb.

Cool thanks for that. I will do some more investigation on the gr/gv models, see if those rails will fit onto my seats.

Hey guys

Quick question, What front seats from other model subies can swap into the BP/BL5 model legacies?

I have some version 10 wrx fronts which are really nice but a( the rails aren't the same to the legacies mount points,  b( I can't swap legacy rails to the wrx seats, has different mounting points.

Are there any other rails that may make them fit at all, gc8 rails maybe, or what other seats can bolt in instead?

[Is a facelift 07 auto trans compatible to a 05 bl5??]

​Hi guys.

Can any of you tell me if I can swap out the trans out of an 07 gtb bl5 legacy to my 05 model bl5?

I am in the middle of doing an engine swap ( my car blew a cambelt and stuffed the heads) and the donor car I have for the swap has alot lower ks, so I am tempted to eventually swap out the whole driveline including rear end and struts.(donor car is still like new underneath)

BUT. the donor car is burnt out so I don't have any computers to plug into my car to make it easier.

Trans code of my car is TG5C7CBCBA

Trans code of donor is TG5C7CBDBA

Only one letter is different but I don't want to risk it and put trans in and then find out that my car won't run right.

If anyone can help me out it would be great.
