Interested in hearing what has come of the situation... any updates?
I've been doing the supporting mods slowly but I'm getting ready for a turbo swap soon. I'm probably going for a kinugawa td05 20g twin scroll but checking on forums if my stock block is up for it.

I posted on here a while ago about putting a vf52 in my legacy gt but I'm now thinking of using a td05 20g twin scroll turbo in my bl5 ej20x. Just want to know if anyone's had experience with a 20g on stock block and stock internals could it take the power easily? I'm still doing the supporting mods and will get a pro tune after but not sure if I should buy the td05 20g since I'm also going for reliability, just want to know a general idea before I buy it tomorrow. Reason why in going for td05 now is price, since I'm going for reliability I'm wanting new reliable parts so oem or reliable brands, if you guys have any other recommendations that be appreciated. Cheers, Tfa

I'm with ASB but I know AMI does it too. I got approved for $500 was about to say that I lost two keys but figured it wasn't worth the risk being greedy haha. AMI gives up to $750 I think.

So I lost my Key Fob and the cheapest quote I got for a replacement was $890+gst. I ended up calling the insurance and was told that it is covered with no excess charge and/or any affect on your premiums, it was hidden from me so I suggest if any of you lose your keys in the future give insurance a call for replacement.

Neither will really work for you since you have a JDM Legacy with the unique Legacy twinscroll layout
Only upgrade option for these that keeps the same flange layout is the Mamba and Kinugawa TD04HLA-20T which is a moderate upgrade, talking 200-220kw territory at best.
You willing to get a different intercooler? That opens up the options a bit if you don't need the 2-bolt compressor outlet
Yeah I'd be getting a front mount inter cooler later on if that helps

I've tried searching the forum for any bolt on turbos but couldn't find any information as most of the topics were about early legacies before 2000. I'm thinking about getting this TD05H-20G from Redline performance for $495. I'm not too keen on fabricating the brackets since I don't trust my own welding for such a crucial joint. I'm just wondering if that would be a direct bolt on or suggestions for any other turbos? I was looking for a VF52 but they're going for around 1.5K, I'm just looking for something that doesn't have too much lag but is able to give good stable boost top end. Cheers

This was well advertised but there has been a major recall on alot of JDM cars due to faulty airbags. Here is a government website listing the cars that could be affected I suggest calling the Subaru dealer and rechecking but yeah.

My 2007 JDM Legacy is also facing this sticky problem even on cold days. I've used expensive dash and trim cleaners nothings worked, the stickiness on my dash is similar to rubbing a glue stick on your fingers then pinching and pulling them apart. didn't realize this was an issue for everyone.

I'm sure its purely semantics & being pedantic but I thinks its more to do with your spelling
brake =/= Break
tomatoes / potatoes however you want to say it, the spelling is differnce etc
same with guttered / gutted, one carried water, the other is your guts being ripped out, or a stink feeling
Oh yeah haha I'm a physics student I'm not too good with words haha I'm more of a numbers person my bad

It's different, the trade card is blue where as the club is red. I think the trade card gives you discounts more upfront where as using a club card you get credited back.

Yeah, I'm not sure if they do ceramics probably do but if you're looking for a cheap break pad that'll do the job well then check out STA parts

Kinugawa 20g td05 vs vf52

The td05 I was looking at is 10cm I believe, and I have thought about e85 but it's probably something I'd use later on after changing lines etc. My main priority is reliability don't wanna blow my engine just yet. Thanks for the suggestions I've been reading up on turbos and it's been hard finding turbos that fit the flange. Cheers guys
