Wondering if 24psi will be ok to tune upto on v7 spec c block.

What turbo and engine set up are u running?

Does the silicon inlet pipe make more power on a td06 or even a stock vf turbo compared to the stock intake pipe to the turbo? It is defiantly bigger then the factory one and i can hear the turbo spooling up a lot more now but has anyone ever seen a dyno figure of how much of an improvement it gives??

Still needs a bit of tidying up which will happen slowly Need that aluminium radiator with silicon hoses to dress up engine bay a little bit more ;D

Yay, installed the siemens 850cc's today :0 so far its good no leaks he he (touch wood) and the link g4 with just a rough tune drives soo well ;D.....has very good start up and idle considering it was just a quick tune, hopefully dyno tune next week after i install the turbo silicon intake

Got me some 875cc siemens drop in plug in injectors ;D ....its a straight plug and play he he, i like it to be nice and simple

Oh na i can install them myself no problem just wanted to know what other bits i need to get them to fit in my stock version 7 rail and manifold setup, as far as i know i have to order them with the 11mm o ring top fitting so that sort of sets the fuel rail side of things but what about the inlet manifold side? Will it just sit in its injector port without any mods or do i need spacers and new bottom o rings to suite etc?

Dam the siemens look like a straight fit hopefully its a straight fit for japanese import ej207 top feed and not the nz new 2.5 liter unless they both are same

Does anyone know whats needed to fit injector dynamics or rochester top feed injectors into version 7 stock fuel rails which are also top feed.

I dont have the factory metal fuel lines (split fuel system) so wont have to remove the inlet manifold ;D and i dont have factory turbo or oil feed 8)

The id's are suppose to be universal fit as far as i have heard, did u have any issues fitting them?

Do i have to get new o rings even if the injectors are brand new? Will the g4 be good to control 1000cc's nicely as i want a good idle as well im getting injector dynamics by the way

As above guys are the factory v7 sti fuel rails ok to 270kw with 1000cc top feed injectors?

I think ill just replace it since it is 11 years old and will break sooner or later

Oh i thought solid engine mounts might reduce box movement as well since they both joined together.......you guys recon 250kw is enough to break stock mounts?

Is it a good idea to replace stock mounts with uprated mounts? I have seen some mounts on trademe (hardrace brand) and wanted to upgrade my stock motor and trans mounts to these, I need some opinions on this topic asap please. Car has around 250kw at the wheels and is a gc8 version 6 sti also i have heard and seen the stock transmission mounts are quiet sloppy so people who use uprated mounts usually claim better shifting. Any advice will be appreciated guys

Is redline mt90 a good oil to use in sti 5 speed manual from a version 6?? Mt 90 is not the smurfs blood version

Is the jdm forester my 99-00 and gf8 wagon sti my99-00 gearbox same as version 5-6 sti sedan gear box???? i checked online and they seem to have the same 8bolt bellhousing and ratios, even the diff ratio is the same between the two ??? box number is sh-ty755vb1aa

Yea but it has lowering springs on :-[ my mate has the same jamex springs on his ver 6 sti and it sits much lower.....my car is actually at factory height if not higher

The kybs i got are red and i saw the 97 sti type r coupe it came out of when i went to pick up the shocks, yup mine is a ver 6 sti, i thought sti type r struts wil make my car sit at the same height if not lower and didnt expect it to raise my car. I havnt installed the fronts yet.

i bought some kyb struts for my car in very good condition off a 1997 type r sti, after installing the car actually sits higher then before ??? ??? , how why??? i installed it all correctly, it just doeant make any sense ohh and my car is a v6 wrx sti 4door
