Regarding the FMIC...she purchased her kit from redline as stated below above and im guessin its 300x600 in relation to "fitting"..in my own opinion. im sure that all kits arent a str8 bolt on like the sellers say they are. i mean there definitely has to be a bit of cutting or some sh1t to make it fit. unless u were to custom make the piping then thats a different story,. nehow pics of me gauges as requested:

will ne one fit as long as its a cable driven dash? ie will a legacy one fit? might pop to the wreckers today ;D

oh okay i get what u mean now....well i think i found the problem. i removed the 17mm bolt on the gbox and found the inner able has split! pic below now to check the other end... now that i gota replace the inner cable.can i just buy an inner cable from winger or does it come as a whole??

alright here are some pics that i took...may not be real clear as the lighting in me garage is real shit!! above is the connection on the cluster...looks fine. above is gbox connection. also looks fine and above is the inner cable being pulled out but not fully out mmm everything looks fine to me..so in the end im still confused on what the bloody problem is lol ???

mm but if i pull the inner cable out (on gbox) how would i get it back in ??? gonna remove gbox cable again to try get pics this time. will post up in 5 10 mins

Alright time for an update...have just had a look under the car at the gbox connection. removed the orange sleeve to review a clip looking thing. removed that and pulled out the cable connection..and it looked fine! wasnt in bits ;D..however i was able to pull the cable out of its rubber housing (didnt pull it all the way tho lol). is that alright?? :-\ coz doesnt that show that its probably snapped in half somewhere or something? coz shouldnt that cable be tight and have not much movement?? so now i think its not the connection at the gbox..ima remove the dash again to inspect the cable properly and try take a pic of the cable...couldnt get a pic of under the car cameras being a b!tch uz reckon its ok to crc the cable b4 poping it back in?? i did it for the gbox one as most of the lub got removed when i rubbed me finger on it

k so in the end ima have to replace the WHOLE cable no matter what?? meaning from the gbox all the way to the cluster?

AW MAN!!!!! now u fully just made my day k well ima do what u said tomorrow and hopefully my mate gets back to me by then. now is there any other diagnosis i can do that may show me what any other cause could be??

im guesin the plastic drive gear is near the gbox and not the cluster?? as i would not be keen ta replace the cable through the firewall and sh!t to the cluster.. *fingers crossing its what boostins refering 2*

na mines cable bro...its got a cable from the gbox all the way to the speedo cluster. its just weird as mine straight up looks MINT!!!! what are the chances of a cluster shitting its pants?
