Does it feel like it is coming more from the front or the back?
Jack up the whole car and see if you can make the wheels toe in or out by hand. If you can you should be able to trace it from there

All it does it puts your gearbox in a more aggresive mode, it makes it rev out more before changing up a gear, and it will make it kick down eariler and with less throttle. Plus it makes it hold a gear for higher in high revs (reduces the chance of it changing gear mid corner)
All it is, is a mode that the gearbox can go into, its an electronic thing more than a mechanical thing.

Using a water jet is tidier as is it doesnt mark the material like a laser, but generally a water jet is slower at cutting and therefore slightly more expensive. At the end of the day its up to you
While we are on the topic of this thread and i have started dribbling on about water jets.
If anyone is going to profile out high tensile pieces for their car (ie suspension parts), your best bet is getting it cut with an abrasive water jet. Most HT steel plate is roller quenched and is HT due to its heat treatment, which makes them very temperamental to high heat, as this makes them essentially mild steel again. The other problem you have with introducing high amounts of heat into the metal is that it increases its hardness making it alot harder to machine.
Because an abrasive water jet is alot colder than the likes of cutting the part out by plasma etc, it will give you a much more user friendly and engineering sounds result.
And FYI if you end up using an abrasive water jet to cut out a part that requires machining afterwards, enquire about the companies tooling jet as it is quite accurate and makes life a fark load easier at usually not extra cost. I use it to cut out bearing housings, and exact drill sizes for holes that need to be drilled and tapped

If you want to test if it is going back onto the firewall due to wind you could always jack the car up so all four wheels are off the ground (on axle stands) and then drive the car on the axle stands and put your left foot on the brake to load up the motor and produce boost. that way it will only squirt out in the direction from where it is leaking.

long shot but is your dip stick for your gear box all the way down fully?
/quote]
i wonderd that... but it just wont go down anymore! but looking up from under the car u can see that the inside of the cap isnt touching the top of the tube. it sorta just sits over it covering it... is this correct or somen wrong wid the dip stick
Its normal.

your skank whistle should be appropriately positioned as close the the trottle body as pos..
No, the skank whistle needs to be out the front bumper so that when it goes off all the 16 yo's skanks get moist and naked. (Its ok tho, they are 16 so therefore legal)
I was thinking of putting a NOS tank on with NOS purge for poop's and giggles but that was too much effort

This is my version, I got bored in paint

Alloy needs to be laser cut or it turns out like crap. Plus is a shyt load more expensive than steel.
The only companies i know of that can do it for you are in the north island, and it would be cheaper to get it cut in the south island than pay freight from up here. Let me know if you get really stuck though.

It still slots into 1st easily coming up to the cones. Doesnt crunch through any gears and only whines slightly.
And lets not forget it did its first 1,000km with no oil and now has a grand total of 380,000km on it.
I dont know how you turbo guys keep breaking them!
Whine's!!! That thing sounds worse that a girlfriend that gets given piece of ragwort instead of a rose on valentines day...

Although technically as we are still under the Queen's rule, if he is now a PONZ then he is still by default a POME (if you take the Product of Mother England as the source of the name POM).
p.s. I always thought it was from POHM (Prisoner of His Majesty) but according to Wiki that is unfounded :-\
Does that mean that i can call anyone from Texas a POD (Prisoner of Dumbf#ckistan)?

Do you mean foamy or fluffy? Fluffy as in the stuff people have in sub boxes?
Its called Dacron if thats what you are after and all it is is just pillow stuffing, go to spot light or somewhere like that and they have it in rolls, good stuff at sound deadening.
