Since the majority has Potenzas, I have RE002 on my V8 and I need to replace one, either going to get two RE002 or get four 003.

Question, can anyone recommend a tyre of similar comparison,good grip wet/dry, quietness, longevity for a slightly cheaper price. As most of us know they arn't a cheap tyre even with a military discount.

Yeah man you can only just the boost with either a manual boost controller or a electronic one. Other than than that it just adjusts the warning beep.

Just thought i'd resurect this thread. Yeah i'm in the same boat, the quest for more power. Had a chat with my garage and they say they have done a few uprgrades to V7 & V8 STi using a HKS GT28RS these are "bolt on" so they say.

Anyone attempted this here? I might give it a go looks pretty sweet and it sounds fairly straight forward to do.

Headlights out, pry them apart paint and put back together done, Just get some orange bulbs. Makes them look slick definatly suits black cars.

Yeah the dude reckons it was way down on power, got a few mods done to it had an old dyno sheet from when it was first done in 08 for 230kw.

But for some reason after the EBC crapped out everything just seemed to turn to sh*t.

Well I think my turbo is giving up on my V8 Sti. Starting to blow smoke out the exhaust under boost great.

Was going to get it re-tuned cos apparently the last one was crap. I had it put on the dnyo bout a month back and it came back with 190kw and now this has happened. So before it gets tuned again I need to replace the turbo.

Any thoughts? been thinking bout getting a replacement VF37, unsure about what else I could throw in there.

Anyone had a Greddy Boost controller type s randomly stop working?

For some reason mine just cut out, it turns on and everything but the Hi and Low boost dials do nothing. Can twist them all the way to the max and still nothing happens, traced all the lines back and they are all fine no cuts, knicks or missing bits. Just real strange.

Emailed the NZ Greddy company but funnily enough got no reply. Don\'t really want to have to buy another one cos there damn expensive and the old internet search dosn\'t turn up much besides a software fault.

Any ideas?
