Hi guys ive got my wrx and i also have saved up 5 grand i was thinking about buying a 4x4 but thought i could spend the money on my suby instead??? Anyone got any opinions on what i could do for 5grand? Whats done is....(its pritty stock really....) The solenoid does look exactly the same, I will give the terminals ago once I have time as am really busy ATM. I've changed all settings and couldn't get it to work I even got angry and put the gain up to 45 and duty cycle for the boost up to full but still nothing.

Thanks for that stoffa!!!! Very much appriciated, by what you have said, it's all hooked up correctly for internal gate. So I'm guessing it's the soliniod? If it is can I just get any brand solenoid.

No it's 3weeks old it's got lots of boost settings so was definatly working on last guys car. What you mean stuck? Sorry noob here haha

Thanks for reply, ive followed instructions all hooked up as it says, it has two diagrams for internal and external gates, mines internal. it just won't boost more than 7.8psi

Hi there I have a g force gfb boost controller, all hooked up, it's reading boost and like the brightness and everything works, but when I try and up the boost it will not raise no matter what setting I put it on? Can anyone help?

Hi there no it hasn't let go, I'm pretty sure it's skipped a few or a tooth, it was making a very loud belt sort of noise when I started as I was going to take it to work. I wasn't driving it like that so turned off and drove my other car, tried to start next day and it just turns over, and backfires out of exhaust, I've been told by 3 mechanics it sounds like cambelt has slipped, it has fuel, spark and the starter has just been reconditioned aswell.

Yes it's a stupid question, but I don't know and need to know lol you only know if you ask, is my ej20 in my v4 wrx non interference or interference cheers.

Its closed deck it has four holes. And the two studs. Closed deck are older engines so it will be 6 bolt right? 8 bolt is newer engines isn't it?

Ive got a closed deck block, was from a v7 sti but the block was brought new from subaru so not original engine. This block will be 6 bolt bell housing wont it? It only has 6 bolt holes on back so im guessing but i just want to confirm cheers

yea thats what im hoping for! im just thinking il get it tested and it will be warped as its got hot through detonation

wrxonp thats exactly what has happened and from what i can see there is no scraping!

its already out, ive got it sitting in the garage, just the short block? i was thinking of getting it looked over and crack tested and then if thats ok go from there?
