Well I might have blown my turbo, that's why I'm considering it. Any ideas how much for a tune down south anyone?

Will check out codes tomorrow, just took it for a drive before and its hitting boost again? Turbo will still randomly stop working, but if it is boosting, it seems to taper off if I put my foot flat? Also according to the crappy autogauge boost gauge, its still only getting up to about 4 pound :-\

Hi, im thinking about upgrading to a twisted turbo set up in my wrx, what is peoples opionion on twisted turbo setups?? What do you need to upgrade? apart from the fuel pump. do you have to upgrade the injectors? or can you stay on the factory 440cc ones? Has anyone had one and had endless problems with it? Id really apricieate the help.

My friend bought an RS legacy today knowing that the turbos weren't functioning properly, but on the way home after stopping and starting the car a bit after the check engine light came on, it started to build boost (only 4 psi) and then felt like the engine cut out for a second or two, then later on it would boost 3 psi roughly, and stay on 3. As we got near the end of the drive the check engine light came back on, and once again there was no boost. Has anyone else heard of anything like this before? Its got us pretty stumped.

he hasnt checked the error codes and yup all put back correctly.

but we dont understand as before the new turbo was on the second one still boosted but now the new 1 is on it wont boost at all.

my mate blew his primery turbo on his rs legacy. he has taken this turbo off and replaced with a new one but now he has a new problem. the car wont boost at all not even the secondary one that is completely fine. the check engine light is always on and when you accelerate when the turbo is suposed to kick in all it does is make a whining noise. help please........

Do i need acert if i get gauges on the bonnet?? ive lokked everywhere some say no some say yes...... these a wrx on trade me with 3 gauges on the bonnet without a cert and its completely legal??? help please

A 1997 jdm wrx yup all engine standerd apart from extractors and exhaust and bov!!! service was 1000km ago??? do you think somethings wrong??

I noticed today when i popped my bonnet that my engine makes a ticking noise and with more revs it gets faster but with more revs it goes away?? it not piston slap as its not that sort of noise?? Any ideas thanks
