Besides the yellow injectors, or orange afm or looking at the camshafts how do you tell an ej20r apart from a standard TT one? I would have thought there would be ej20r stamped on the block somewhere. do the numbers on the back of the engine mean anything?

Still looking for options

Im looking at getting another engine for the old gtb since the current ones cooked. Would it be of any benefit running a impreza sti engine with gtb heads and in twin turbo over a standard gtb engine? Does any of the sti engines have any sort of forged internals? Pretty much im looking at buying a cheapish engine which is going to be fairly indestructable and have potential to handle more power in future if i decide to start modding stuff
