    LSD?

Nice... pity it's at the wrong end of the country... Do you need the axles as well? or are the non LSD and LSD ones the same?

    LSD?

Sweet will try that then! lol Normally on all my other 2wd cars you just get a set of wheels off the ground and see how the spin. Obviously a bit different with a 4wd.

    LSD?

Is there a way if I can tell I have an LSD? It is a manual box as well.

    LSD?

Where is the gearbox number located? Would a WRX rear diff fit?

    LSD?

Hi all, looking to upgrade the rear diff on my 95 TT SW to an LSD unit. Do all Legacy TT SW's have the same diff ratio? If not is there a way to tell? Which LSD units from which Subaru's will fit? Thanks
  6. Says BG5A... Also option code FH? Tried searching for this, anyone know what option this was for?
  7. What are the front and rear rotor sizes for a 95 TT Legacy GT SW? Had a look in the book and it seems that there were 2 sizes...
  8. Hi all, looking to lower my 1995 Legacy SW. I have seen 2 in Christchurch that I like the height of. There is a white one, no rear spoiler on the factory BBS alloys, has a clubsub sticker on it, seen it at Harewood RC track on Sunday. Also a silver one with rear spoiler on factory BBS wheels as well. Wondering what springs these guys, or anyone running. Pics would be good. Thanks!
  9. Awesome guys, thanks for that, i'll head down to my mate and grab some stock rotors and some aftermarket pads. Out of interest how much brake fluid will I need for a full flush of the brake system?
  10. Thanks for that. I just found that hauling up a huge wagon from 100k's a few times heading around the coast of the south island, the brakes were kinda pathetic. Anyone in Christchurch have some 4 pot front brakes and willing to let me ry a BBS mag on their car? I think that the 4 pots would be the best.
  11. I have a 1995 TT Legacy SW and the front brakes are nearing the end of their lives, both pads and rotors My mate can get me Bendix and Minti (spelling) pads cheap, he just said that I need to know which ones I want. I can also get Znoelli Rotors cheap as well, $280 for the front pair. I want brakes that are going to be good for driving around the street and long trips. Questions I have are: Which brake pads are going to be the best for my application? Is it worth getting slotted rotors for what I want? or should I just go for some new standard Subaru ones? I was going to go to a 4 pot front setup, but I can't bear parting with my factory 16" BBS mags... I really like them!
  12. There and back I managed to get 9L per 100k's which I thought was pretty good. One thing I do like about the twin turbo is when the second turbo kicks in and the boost gauge shoots up from 10psi to 15psi. There are some pretty steep hills in Dunedin so it could have been that. Other thing was that water from the washer bottle kept on spraying up onto the back window going up hills? Not sure what this is all about?
  13. Drove my TT SW down to Dunedin on Friday, driving round the hills I could hear the turbo spooling up extra loud. Normally I can just hear them spooling up, this was much louder. Although they still boosted right up properly and there was no smoke. Drove the car back to Chch today and no odd noises. Going to check them out, ie take the intake pipes off and give them a wiggle to see if they are slogged out or anything. Anyone had this before? Also I'm not after power, car's fast enough as is. (fully factory). Want I want to know is fuel economy wise and reliability which is best, single turbo conversion, twins in series, twins in parrellel? Car has just turned over 170k's so I was thinking that if the turbo was on it's way out I might pop them off and get them recond.
  14. I'm not to sure to be honest. Although I did see a WRX station wagon yesterday that had 4 pot fronts under 16" rims. Is this something to do with the type of wheel perhaps that won't allow me to fit them under the 16" BBS?
  15. Thanks for the quick replys! Pity about the brakes... is there any other option whist keeping the BBS alloys? Maybe better brake pads so less fading, better brake fluid etc? Good to know about the seats and braces. Also I can get king springs for $170 an end for the lows, hopefully this is a good price? Thanks guys
  16. Hey guys and girls... I'm new here, got told this was the best Subaru forum Went out and bought myself a 1995 Legacy, full factory twin turbo manual one. I always hated subarus, but when i was looking for a station wagon, turbo, factory this was the best option, and I love it! Just put a whole years rego on it... so going to be keeping this one! I did some searching and couldn't find what I was looking for. Mine has the 16" BBS alloys that they came factory with and I want to keep them. Can you fit the 4 pot front and the 2 pot rear subaru Calipers under them? If so what do I need to fit them, if not is there another option? (going to use the car at track days) Kings or Cobras? I have been offered both, brand new, although what are peoples opinions? WRX seats, from what I have read, pre 2000 WRX front seats bolt straight up? Am I correct? Last one... Front strut brace... what models will bolt up? sedan/wagons? Thanks heaps!
