To save you an extra 30 minute drive, you could deal with Andy Smith in Levin.
The place is called Smiths Automotive. Just recently had a cert done by him. He's really good!
Same with you Kevin, just go back to Andys

Royal Purple is probably the best oil you can find in the viscosity subarus require but it is hard to get hold of in NZ.

Doesn't Supercheap Auto sell it? I'm pretty sure I see it in there whenever I go in
Which Supercheap? I haven't seen it at the Mt Welly store. Not on their website either.
I don't think SC stock Royal Purple. STA Parts stock it

Palmfield Motors in Palmerston North. A Mazda and Subaru dealer.

Yep Redline will sell it as well. I got mine from Speedtech which is essentially the Redline store in Wellington.

How far is Manukau from you?

Recently had mine changed not long ago. I used Motul Motyl Gear 75W-90. Takes approximately 4 litres.
If you're feeling rich, Motul Gear 300 is the other option (full synthetic), but pretty damn pricey.

If you're really keen for one, there's someone on Ebay who sells them.

Cheers guys.
Lip took forever to find! Been looking the day i bought the car

Recently just put some Goodyear F1 D5's on my new wheels.
They seem to be a very good tire and do the trick for me. Very quiet on road noise too.
I heard DZ101's are being discontinued? Maybe there just trying to clear stock.

Absolutely love your car Marc! The prodrive front is my favourite!

Haha thanks mate, Sux I couldnt get that front pic any bigger for some reason , thoes ones were only off an iphone tho prob half the reason lol.
Stressed me out abit cutting the genuine plastic bumper for FMIC but made 110% sure I didnt hack it and only took what I had to! Looks stealth anyway so not an eyesore on the nice looking front I reckon... the things we do in the name of more power :-\ lol
Out of interest, what kinda wheels are those? XD9's?

Engine, gearbox and rear diff oil all replaced. Put my Fujitsubo catback back on the car. Missed the grumble..
Coilovers have nearly been rebuilt and ready to be installed next week!
-
Dropped coilovers off to a dude to get them checked over before they go in the car.
Fitted my new wheels to the car! Looking awesome

Under the gearknob is a lifter. Lift it, then it'll move over and you'll be able to slot it into reverse

You're in Upper Hutt right?

I know a guy that's doing a courier run this weekend. Hes a contractor for Sub60.
He has plenty of room left heading up towards Auckland.
Contact me if you're interested. He'll be after alittle bit of cash for his service.

This is a useful site.

Ask for proper pictures of the item and box. Then try and compare.
EDIT: Actually, if you look at that site and check the picture of the box.
Fake:Strip at the top is pink
Real: Strip at the top is purple
The ones in his auction have a pink strip. If the information is correct on that website, then the BOV's he are selling are most likely fake.

This could be a little cheeky but has worked.
How about going into Firestone, pick the tires you want and get them quoted up. Then take the quote to Tony's Tyre Service and see if they can beat that price. Then go back to Firestone and see whether they can beat Tony's price. You could also add Beaurepaires to the list.
