  1. $4K is crazy I would just get bc gold adjustable and Certed 2K.
  2. Thanks for your feedback. I may just change to bc gold adjustable damping.
  3. What brand are you running and what spring rates? Are your damper adjustable or preset, yes there seems to be a lot of setup involved. Autolign in akl tell me to get them to ride better will need to be revalved.
  4. Hi anyone running coilovers on their legacy can u give me feedback? Had a set of blisten adjustables installed ride height adjustable only. On smooth road it's ace very responsive and accurate but on any back road it's not compliant and scary when you really travelling. Went out with a few friends last night On the back roads where I live and cannot keep up, I get thrown off by slightest camber or undulation on the road. The rear end is also not stable it almost hops on certain bumps. The car is not slammed wheels don't sit under the archers ? Cheers
  5. okay cool, same here just going to go ahead with EVO or STI seat. don't want any electrical gubbins.
  6. Thanks Gents, understand now! Amazing how they got this so wrong... let me know how you get on Andy_Mac.
  7. Post Facelift, which one is the pre facelift seat, are thought all gt's had the same drivers seats? Thanks
  8. Hi Has anyone installed an aftermarket drivers seat for their legacy. The standard seat is good but does not have enough bolstering and I find myself sitting on rather than in the seat if that makes any sense. If I swap with an Evo seat do I need to get compliance? Thanks/
  9. Do you really need an automatic. I drove a auto recently and the gearbox really starting to show its age now.
  10. I have a 06 2.0 GT 116xxxkms Combined cycle I get roughly 400-450km on a tank. Recently did a trip down to Raupehu and got 600kms, I drive my car fairly hard including trackdays but maintain it religiously. Seems okay for now but I am sure it will go BOOM one day.
  11. Cheers will check it out this weekend.
  12. Hey Guys Had my clutch replaced about a year ago new stock clutch SACHS, used existing flywheel. In the last few months notices that there is a knocking rattle sound when I take off. Esp when stuck in traffic for a while you can really hear it distinctly. Can only ever hear it taking of from standstill, in gear on deceleration nothing. Could it be my flywheel? Its annoying the f**k out of me... cheers
  13. If you just going to use it to cruise around the auto should be fine. If you thinking of going the route of a performance wagon I would suggest a manual.
  14. I would suggest getting a 3.0 or 2.0 Turbo. My wife has a similar year BMW and the maintenance cost on the Legacy is significantly lower.
