  6. yea a gt2876r with .84 WILL be laggier than a vf22.. however if you have a twisted turbo set up and flipped manifold and custom intercooler piping aswell as a good tune it should be ok
  7. dude a gt2876r is a universal turbo i.e it is made for any application. it uses a t25 inlet flange, and a 5 bolt exhaust flange There is a lot of work in fitting a garrett turbo to a subaru.. and its not cheap or easy! nothing comes off the shelf you will need to purchase these items - t25 flange and gasket -5 bolt exhaust flange and gasket -oil feed nipple, braided hose, fitting to block -oil return flange and gasket -water feed fitting and hose -water return fitting and hose you will also need to twist the new turbo as it wont fit well in stock location, which will require: -custom fabricated up pipe -custom fabricated down pipe -custom fabricated intercooler pipe (from turbo) -custom fabricated 4" inlet pipe ALSO.. your stock ECU will not run the gt2876r, you will need a programmable ecu.. ideally bigger injectors, link ecu, 3" exhaust, front mount, and you will also need a tune, preferably a dyno tune!

  10. yea the cheapest quote for a towtruck was $400.00 booked a car trailer for 3 days for $75.00 bus will have petrol costs ontop etc. etc.
  11. Hey my car is in Hamilton and i need to tow it to GCP in Pukekohi Does anyone have any idea how much it would cost to get a tow truck to do it? Im trying to weight up the cost of hiring a trailer and doing it myself VS tow truck Thanks
  12. Ok so i decided to re-do my power steering lines, here is what i did.. (Idea courtesy of Tony (Ronin) Items: 1m 8000psi Teflon Inner Braided Hose 1m 300psi Push Lock Hose 2x -6AN teflon braided fittings 1x -6AN push lock fitting 2x -6AN male steel weld on fittings Got the steel weld on fitting welded to my hard lines like so.. I totally agree about the different opinions part - you rarely get one answer from a variety of people both on forums and in the real world whether it be about pistons, turbo manufacturers, ECU's, of gfb pulley kits haha Out of interest Ichi where do you tune cars?
