Sons 93 rex is having issues with idle . Car revs up and down but when I unplug the front left injector plug it runs fine what is this

The ID plate is gone someone has drilled the potrivets out and taken the plate

Hey people my son just got himself a 1993 wrx and it doesnt have a ID plate under the hood to tell me what it is im thinking it is a RA as it has non painted door handles and a manual ariel but cant find anything else out about it

also has a issue with rough idle when I pull the front left injector plug off it runs fine is it a block injector ? motor runs fine when driving just idle it seems to run up and down in revs ???

Im looking at buying a work wagon and Ive found a 250t but can find much out about them can anyone help . Is the ej25 a good motor im unsure of kms at the moment and what price should I pay ?

Ive got a 2002 b4 rs30 factory pearl paint lowered on 17s . Ive had stis and ra rexs and 9 bc5 rs,s and the rs30 is by far the best makes power all through the rev range good for cruising and passing . Ive had a few problems with it tappet cover gaskets were done at 42000km and blew the radiator 3 weeks ago at 49000km . I was told by subaru in Invercargill that its common for rs-gt30s . But dont be put off thay are awesome and theres not may around in that shape
