Thanks! I don't have a pressure gauge as yet but will definitely not be mounting it that way! When i get a pressure gauge i may well get a sandwich plate adapter and put both in that near the filter...

Yeah I've got a few I'm putting in but I think I should be fine with water temp and boost, only the oil i'm confused about... Though if anyone knows where I can find (or has) a panel to fit in a single din slot (top part in the centre of the 97 forester) that will hold 3 gauges I'm in the market for one of those too...

Guys, I've heard that you can mount the oil temp sender for your gauge to a point underneath the top mount intercooler? Is this correct? Also could you recommend any other ways of hooking up the sender if this wont work...

I just bought a GoPro HD (1080p)... If you're willing to cough up the money they are so worth it. Tested on the forester yesterday and got some really good footage and its got good audio too if u use it in the car with the open casing. I've seen a mate pull dents out of his car with the suction cup mount (so that shit is NOT falling off haha)

Looking at putting an STi sway bar in my forester. Can anyone help me with what size the standard sway bars are from a 1995 WRX STi?

yeah, the lump in the roof was from the roof rails... all i can say is with that much weight gone off the rear end it would be fun going up the remarkz ski-field road!!!

Thanks guys, what does installation for a trans oil temp gauge involve? I don't have alot of experience with gauges etc... Would it be fine getting a friend with the know how to do it or would it be better done by a pro?

The subis that come standard with a towing setup usually have a transmission oil cooler from stock. But i put on my towbar and wiring etc myself so im assuming it doesn't have a stock cooler... Any idea how much id be looking at to get a cooler and have it installed? As for boost it's standard atm but am looking to upgrade once funding allows....

I do a reasonable amount of towing with my forester (2l turbo Auto) over the summer months (boats etc.) and I've heard that I should be really careful when towing heavier loads (auto transmission especially)... I have an empty single din slot that I'm looking to fill with 3 gauges and was planning on putting in boost, oil temp. and either oil pressure or water temp... Are there any variations on this combination that you would recommend?

Gonna sound a bit of a dumb question but as a new member I'll ask anyway... What do the meets involve? Just meeting the other subi owners in the area and going for a bit of a drive or what?
