  1. All i see is well cleaned cars, lowered on nice rims, any chump can acheive that.

The reason we don't have this "standard" in NZ is because as a whole people are too cheap to shell out for quality and stick with ripoffs.

    Unless i'm missing something....

yeah they asked about modifactions, apparently they were told it was a 5 door, when its two door... god damn i dunno why the hell they were told that..

I had the same thing with STATE, they didn't recognise the 2 door so had to have it noted seperatly on policy as it wasn't part of there list of cars or something.

Meant i could insure it for more than the 4-5 door models though.

FYI, the closest 2 door subaru they had was a 1981 something something.

  3. There is a big difference between a 60's sports car, and a 60's family wagon, same as a 90's sports car, and a 90's family wagon.

While i'm sure that some would consider the legacy in question a sports car, at the end of the day, it is still a family wagon (IMO)

Like I said I would not drop 5K on a 20 year old Subaru, no matter what it is...

    Plus one on this,

What is rare about this wagon, the fact its still going? the fact its a cheap subaru in auckland that doesn't have a monsta tach and chromies?

Nice wagon no doubt, but a 20year subaru with 200k on it. Nikka PLEASE!!!

  5. ZERO tolerance is where it should be at. I don't care if your car can stop on a dime. You shouldn't be going over 100/xx anyways.

What so many people fail to recognise is the fact that the more people they pull over the more chance they have of finding people with out standing warrants, warrants which could well be for all sorts of violent and hideous crimes.

I've travelled 80k's so far this weekend. Seen so many cars pulled over. 8-9 i think it was.

What i'd love too see is a crack down on monkeys who aren't indicating at roundabouts, that really fucks me off.

WOH! my REX - Carjam Average auction price: $6,280 :o

has this valued for insurence purposes at $14k about a month ago.

But yours is a race car.........

    @17k, someone got tucked (IMO)

  7. Get a 3 series BMW, dye your hair, frost ya pubes, get a flat peak cap, pick up some shore girls and away ya go.

328's are getting cheap for highish K's

older 325's are also a good starting point.

If developing a car is half the fun, then selling it for a massive loss is a bonus.

Search the comp cars on TM, sort by dollars so you don't get too tempted and see what other people have done, there is plenty of mint stuff available for 12-15k that you could surely bargain them down on (because the market for such cars is so small they have to move on all interested parties).

Best advice is to let some other person take the financial hit so you start with a better base.

    Yeah..

Good to be on the same page.

  9. Funk the MODS, i don't own a subaru, nor do i want to.

I'm only here so i can recharge for my next round of FAP haha.

I'd take an evo For the record though.

Both seem to attract too many ****wits and wankers to them now, thanks GE finance, you've ruined a good thing.

  10. What a leap of faith, you are a trusting man. Shame it worked out so badly.

Your taking it far better than i ever would, i hope the culprit is making good for you and not leaving you out of the pocket.

There's taking responsibility, and theres making things right.

Look forward to the next project.
