  1. I'm not worried Have read the article many a time, is very interesting. I think it's pretty fair to say they have proven themselves time and time again. Even in NZ; One of our sponsored drivers Sky Zhao had at tyre pop off the bead of his 18x12 Rota GTR-D's at over 100km/h+, kept drifting and linked 3 consecutive corners after that...ON THE RIM and aside from a couple of scratches they're still in perfect nick. Have videos and pics of this happening at Whangarei D1NZ round 5 Re the wheels for the Evo, please see this link: http://www.supot.ph/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/608612-500x373.jpg?9d7bd4 These are 17x7.5 +45, pink is no problem
  2. They don't but I can make it happen for you. Would be 8 weeks as all of our wheels are made to order. Let me know if this would be something of interest [quote name='chulozumo said: oooh didnt realise we had a rotawheels guy! I read somewhere on the net the other week that rota wheels arnt forged? Correct, Rota Wheels are cast and not forged, almost if not all wheels under 3k would be cast as opposed to forged. They are however still very light and incredibly strong. Any of our drivers or customers can vouch for this

  4. Hey StiNGR, yes we can do Price will depend on what size/quality tyre you'd like. Either way we are very competitive. Can do 225/40's or 235/40's for good quality tyres from $149 fitted and balanced. So with your club discount this would make $2,045 fitted and balanced
  5. 18x9.5 +38 MXR's in Hyper black/polished lip on a V7 non Sti wagon we supplied just recently. They had 225/40's fitted, I understand on the sedans they have slightly larger guards? They just required a guard roll as the rear was well and truly tucked under. We also have these in stock in 18x8.5 +44 which will also clear brembo's, no guard rolling required. Have fitted this same size to a few GC8's in previous models. Only required a slightly (but still legal) tyre, and a mild guard roll (no flaring required). Have PLENTY of Subaru fitments, IN STOCK at present, Club Sub discount applies Everything from 17x8 to 18x9.5, huge range of colours. Any questions please don't hesitate to ask or PM.
  6. Yep will definately fit, Will upload some pics tomorrow of some fitted up in the states and 1 on a wagon Here. We have both 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 to suit either fitment style
  7. 18x9.5 +38 Rota MXR's, due to land any day now Should have been last week but the Port strikes have everything on the fritz!
  8. Haha it's not all fun and games but you guys should all benefit from a few things we have decided on over here Many new things on their way for Subaru's and some crazy concepts have been thrown around.. Re the Torques, glad you like them we're doing our best to cater to your market asap.
  9. Hey mate, were in Oz at the moment with our Ozzy distributor. Will be back on Wedneaday AM if you're still up then?
  10. Haha yeh the dude is crazy! But good on him. Quick search came up with this in the US: I think with a 235/40 all round and a slight guard roll (again, just the inner lip) would be a practical, legal and 'flush' ride Perfect for a daily!
  11. The 18x9.5 +18 will be a good fitment for your Soarer. Pair them up with some 235/40's or 245/40's (both legal) and possibly a mild guard roll (just the inner lip) and you'll be away laughing I think it would be good for the car to have a slightly aggressive look, a flat black or matte bronze would suit that colourscheme to a tee. (Just my personal opinion but completely up to you) Just the other day we sold a set of 18x12 +17 ALL ROUND to a Soarer, he fitted them up with 275's and flared the guards but surprisingly they work! Wouldn't recommend it if you want to keep your guards in any decent condition though!
  12. Hey mate, we don't have any stockists down those ways at present sorry. Which wheels were you interested in and what car were they to fit? I can provide you with a multitude of pics and some assistance with my offset imprinted brain
  13. Hey mate, we can get these in. Wouldn't be for another 8-10 weeks though as all of our wheels are made to order Have 17x8's in the DPT's? Or have 18x8.5 +44's in the Gforces and Grids Huge range of colours!
  14. MMMMmmmm Rota MXR's Due in 18x8.5 +44, 18x9.5 +38: gold/polished lip, matte bronze/sports bronze lip, yamaha black/polished lip, flat black/sports bronze lip, hyper black/polished lip BOTH Brembo compatible Also in Subaru fitments due on the 9th of March (cleared customs by the 11th) 17x8 +44 Rota Grids: bronze, white, yamaha black (gloss black), hyper black 18x8.5 +44 Rota Grids: tint graphite, yamaha black, white, bronze, flat black Currently in stock in 5x100 17x8 +44, 17x9 +35 Rota DPT's 18x8.5 +44 Rota Grid - Yamaha black 18x9.5 +38 Rota Grid - Flat black, matt bronze, gold, tint graphite 18x9.5 +35 Rota Torque - Yamaha black, white, sports bronze, hyper black Any questions please don't hesitate to ask
  15. We've got 5x114.3 19x8.5, 19x9.5 & 19x10 deep dish grids coming in 3-4 weeks. I have been told you can fit these to 5x112 with 'floating bolts/nuts' (sold a set of 5x114 to an Audi 5x112 customer this morning)
  16. Hey mate, sorry at present the closest we have to the Gunmetallic would be our Matte Bronze. In 18x10 +15 we have the following colours available: Absolute green Flat Black Yamaha Black (gloss black) Hyper Black White Matte Bronze Cosmic Blue If you want a very aggressive fitment the 10's would be good but bear in mind in that thread he is running 225/40 tyres up front. I wouldn't recommend running a tyre that stretched, we often do 235/40's on 10's but this tyre size is the minimum required by LVV for a 9.5" rim. So to answer your question I would recommend going with the 18x9.5 +18 for a very staunch but slightly more manageable fitment which will also be legal with a 235/40 tyre up front and whatever you wish to run on the rear, maybe a 235 or 245/40. I would roll the guards (the inner lip) to ensure this doesn't cut into your tyre when going in drive-ways etc. The 9.5's are available in the following colours: Absolute Green/Candy Green Lip White Matte Bronze Absolute Green Absolute Pink Cosmic blue Tint Graphite Flat Black Let me know what you think and we can go from there
  17. An 18x8.5 is a great fitment on the Blitzen/b4's. We always recommend rolling the guards (just the inner lip) no flaring required. You could quite easily run a 225/40 which is barely stretched at all on an 8.5" rim. We have this size coming in our brand new MXR's. Huge range of colours also
  18. Sure thing, send us up some money for testing??? We have those in stock if you're interested in purchasing them, $1,299/set which means $1,199/set for Clubsub members
  19. Yep, you got it. There are also slight changes in the design too from the original. Many as people would see as improvements e.g. our 18x9.5" Grids have MUCH more concave than that of an 18x9.5 Te37 etc. Thank you, really appreciate it. We're very selective about what we bring in and the sizes that we stock. Not an easy process with months and months of research into each size, offset and finishes but the results are worth it! We run these wheels on all of our own cars and confidently stand by our product!
  20. I still like them, if the 17 x 8 has the same dish as those I will still be keen. they are 18 x 8.5 i take it? Yes the 17x8's have the same amount of dish as the 18x8.5 +44 Grids pictured. Will get these up as soon as possible [quote name='ODB said: im just surprised you havent been taken to court yet for so blatantly stealing the CE28 and CR Kai design LOL No doubt about it though your wheels look good. Every single wheel is completely re-designed, blue-printed and put through vigorous tests to ensure strength and durability. I have documents and documents of the produces that Rota go through with every different model produced. All of our wheels are very light weight and we challenge any wheel within the same price range to beat us on wheel weight or performance
  21. Near flat unfortunately. 17x9 Dpt's have a bit of concave to them. The 18x9.5's will work, as can be seen on a near stock GC8 guard wise, with stretched tyres. So with pumped guards and normal sized tyres they can definately be an option. The choice is yours
  22. Yes this is correct, the 'dished/concaved' spokes come from the 17x9+ and 18x9.5+ Grids. The 'flatter' spokes of the 17x8 and 18x8.5 provide much greater caliper clearance. Hence having to run a 5mm slip on spacer to clear the brembo's on the later model Sti's with the 9.5 Grids. This is also the same for the 18x9.5 Rota Torques (which we now stock). It is deceptive as the concave gives the appearance of a larger amount of clearance but as the spokes come towards the centre of the wheel they just clip the corner of the brembo's . The 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 MXR's will not require any spacers to clear the brembo's on later model Sti's. The 17x8 and 17x9 DPT don't require any spacers. Any other questions, please fire away
  23. The 18x8.5 is a 44p offset, perfect to clear everything and is no trouble on a 225/40 tyre (which are nice and common, which also means cheap!) We've got the new Rota G-force in this fitment in stock at present too Any enquires please don't hesitate to ask. [email protected] 0800 ROTA4U
  24. Correct, 7 weeks. Finishes are: Bronze (pictured) White Yamaha Black Hyper Black Please note, this colour can change quite a bit depending upon which amount of light it is under. Anyone that has purchased any of our wheels can vouch for the finishes in real life. Sounds like this is the best option for you, either way we have you covered. The 17x8 Grid will be much lighter than that of the 18x8.5 or 18x9.5 options. Kind regards
  25. Yes we can do pickups, (or free delivery within Auckland, you choose) I believe so, yes. They clear Brembo's on the later model Sti's, unsure if this will change on a Gc8? Happy to arrange a trial fit if need be [quote name='ballsrburning said: how long will the 100 dollar off offer last? bloody engine rebuild i really want these now, interested in the 18X9.5 gold rota grids. We'll keep it running for a short while want to keep a good relationship with CS - We have on their way a 17x8 +44 Rota Grid I trust this will solve all your issues? If not, and you're after something wide but not crazy wide the 18x8.5 Grid will be one of your best bets to still retain a better sized tyre for racing and less guard modification. Also have some other styles which you will be very interested in, due in 7 weeks. One in particular is the Rota MXR: img]http://dudesphotography.smugmug.com/Wheels/Rota-MXR-18x95-Royal-Gold/i-jzdTmLb/0/L/mxrGoldpolishedlip-1-of-1-4-L.jpg[/img] Plenty of different colours coming including gold/polished lip, hyper black/polished lip, matt bronze/anodized bronze lip, flat black/anodized bronze lip. 18x8.5, 18x9.5 in 5x100. Have some more suprizes for you all too. I can also confidently say that within the same price range almost, if not all of our wheels will be lighter than our competitors when comparing wheels with the same specs e.g. 18x8.5 vs 18x8.5 etc. Any other questions or enquiries please fire away!
