Glossmaster (AJ) on the Shore is another good option.

I'm pretty sure that something just like that is what Tony used. Then modified the rack ends to be height adjustable to adjust out the bumpsteer.
But the angle of your axles is dictated by the wheel centre and the height of the gearbox. If you want to go lower, you can't fix the angle of the axles by adjusting anything at the hubs, you'd have to lift the engine/gearbox up.
Thanks for that - I'd like to get the car sitting 10mm lower all around. I confused myself over being able to change the axle angles. haha

Any companies make drop spyndles for GC8's?

Thanks! I'm pretty stoked with how it turned out. Still need to black out the splitter and diffuser.

Thanks. Not the best pics but here's a couple;

Yup, alloy front splitter, flat bottom and rear diffuser.

From the final round of NZ Superlap in May.

Haha It's the exit speed from the slower corners.. The quicker ones are fine - pin it and hang on!
-
Sweet! Mine kicks in at about 4200 with a .82 exhaust housing.. don't get me wrong - its bloody good fun in a straight line!
-
Thats the one. Anyone running that set up on here?
-
More the quicker spool i'm after (block couldn't handle too much more power in its current state.. god dammit). Currently have a GT3082r making close to 400kw. Thoughts were I could get good coin for my current gear (Sinco equal length headers and up pipe, Tial 44mm EWG, GT3082r with anti surge cover, 3" down pipe with EWG plumbing) to put towards a TS set up.
-
How does the performance of the factory TS headers compare to aftermarket options? Im thinking factory headers, custom up pipe, and an EFR 7670. Appreciate any input!

Yeah beginning to sound like too much trouble for what its worth. At first thought I figured it wouldn't be too difficult with the car on a hoist and a sand blaster.
-
Yeah I did that for the interior sound deadening but now I want to get rid of the stuff from underneath the car.. The car is assembled too so I cant flip it over.
-
More of a race car mod but has anyone removed their cars underseal? One step furter to the usual interior sound deadening removal. Was thinking media blasting would do the trick and then a thin coat to reseal the metal.
-
How much love does it need? Its for a race car.
-
Yeah I would've thought so. Will do.
-
Thanks. Have had a good look through google with no luck.
-
Thanks. Just waiting to hear back from him.

Fire Extinguisher Install
in Motorsports
Posted
Mate, the the install looks good! but if you needed to use it.. a 1kg extinguisher is good for f-all. When you see flames coming out of your pride and joy your extinguisher can never be large enough!!
