  1. I decided to keep it simple and have ordered 1" strut spacers from Paranoid Fabrication. The gravel express already has more ground clearance than a wrx and I think the 1" spacers plus the biggest off road tyres I can fit will give me enough clearance for where it will be used.

Will chuck a photo up when done.

  2. I have a 96 WRX gravel express that is now surplus to requirements and for the money we could get for it it is probably not worth selling, so my brothers and I are tossing up the idea of turning it into an off-roader to use on the trails through our pine forest.

Im thinking decent tyres and a winch (if it isn\'t too much trouble to mount one on the front??)

as its a gravel express I think it will already have enough ground clearance for what we would be using it for, but what are my options for a lift? Forester suspension?

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Cheers!

  3. Cheers guys - Appreciate the input.

I wouldn\'t mind a front pipe with high flow cat but I think the cost will outweigh the benefit.. Exhaust components for this model are very expensive - $2000 for a Borla cat back..

Im thinking a decent tune with 3 different boost levels is the way to go and will get in touch with Torque Performance to get their thoughts.

  4. Hi guys,

I have a stock standard 2011 STI and am wanting some advice on some minor mods.

At the moment I am thinking a drop in high flow panel filter (as I have read that the factory intakes are pretty good on these cars) and a tune (at Torque Performance). Or is Gary Capper the man to go to??

I would like to run 3 different maps off the SI Drive. see:

Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

    Cheers.

144.7KW to 158.3KW ATW. It doesn't sound like a huge increase in power but the overall driving experience has improved considerably. Anyone know how to calculate KW ATW to Flywheel?

Is 144.7kW atw when it was completely stock?

After Subtech Front Pipe and HKS foam panel filter.
