  1. why cant i do that.my mates evo 1 is running 560cc evo 6 injectors on a factory ecu with a afc I + 20%? just curious.i no i cant do it with a bc5 rs 390cc ecu because it wouldnt make up 660cc with a afc but i wanna run a sti one which is 440cc and then turn the fuel up..

  2. hey guys iv hit a real bad bump.i purchased an apexi power fc off trademe about 6 months ago and the guy (warlord101) never sent the ecu.its a real long story but i didnt end up getting my money back or the computer.he sold it to another member.so now im stuck with 660cc injectors and a factory 1989 bc5 ecu.i dont have any funds to buy a aftermarket computer anymore,i lost 700 on the power fc.could you guys give me some ideas on how i can run bigger injectors on a factory ecu ie.afc,chips,afm...the cheapest option iv come up with is a 4plug sti ecu running 440 inejectors with a sti afm with a apexi safc II with +40% fuel.I think that could run 660cc inecjtors..

  3. when changing a turbo youve got to disconnect the crank sensor so the engine dosent turn over but still allows oil pressure to go through the turbo core and out the oil return u do this so your turbo dosent oil starve and seize bearings etc.changing a turbo is a easy 4 hour job.start of with un-doing the intake system.should take max 30 min then ull undo bolts on the down pipe connecting to the center/mid pipe then undo the bolts on exahust housing of the turbo of the down pipe.now u can pull the dump pipe out to give u extra space.from there you can do the bolts from the up pipe to the exhaust housing and those arnt hard.also use locktite when doing ur bolts and nuts up and u need to re seal the gaskets with orange sealer.iv seen people change turbos and forget run oil pressure through the core first this will take away half of the turbos longevity and if its a realy dry turbo you can seize it at the first crank.

  4. iv also got a similar problem.the other night i was driving a 1993 f/l vz legacy wagon and it was raining as i took of at the lights on a up hill the front wheels skided and the car suddenly shut off,its dosent crank but tries to.its done close to 200km would anyone no what that problem is

  5. hey i just joined this forum,i have a rs legacy thats running a twisted turbo setup but i havnt found someone to do the twisted downpipe.the turbos bolted in place, already twisted with the exhaust flange botled to the turbo already theres just a gap that needs to be welded up iv pretty much cut the pipes to fit.iv rang up so many diff ppl and they all seem to have and excuse for the job,any help any backyard fabricators? thanks
