  1. What boost control system you running ? standard oem solenoid or aftermarket ?
  2. Bit of an update, Engine builder came over to pick up cams, timing belt, injectors and needs fuel pump( wants to get more thorough assessment done). He told me yesterday that here is 4.5mm clearance from 4mm... so he pretty much been saying that E85 is inconsistent which could have caused it, over rev or timing belt skipping.
  3. my 1/4 run 11.9 spinning all four. https://www.facebook.com/minhaaj.bhaijee.1/videos/vb.100005771289956/386675878201452/?type=3&theater
  4. Bump What causes warped heads ? I know overheating does but anything else?
  5. I had cracks in mine and it worked out fine no problems, just the dropped valve problem atm due to some other circumstance lol.
  6. Would hurt to go 625 custom age rod bolts too if you intend to rev out pretty high.
  7. It's all cylinder pressure, Saif lifted his heads years ago running standard arp but was with NOS
  8. I think it was $450 NZD shipped to my place. Yeah bro, I get where you're coming from it was such a hassle driving to the shore all the time for E85
  9. One of the boys lifted the heads at 420kw but lifted when nos was activated. It's all cylinder pressure, with pump gas it would depend on how much boost you run. E85 creates more cylinder pressure than pump gas, hence why I went L19 ARP head studs.
  10. The pictures is of the motor apart, I have not touched anything. Nope, nothing to do with the issue. The issue here is a dropped intake valve and all exhaust valve seats burnt and some exhaust valves burnt.
  11. Yup, I'm going to see how things progress tonight with the builder and makeup my mind after. I've already got my reports done and it's not looking good his way.
  12. Just got the heads back from another assessment I got done, another thing which they noticed is that some of the intake and exhaust valve had a lot of clearance When we opened the valve, we moved it side to side and found a lot of clearance in the intake and exhaust (some had more clearance and some didn't).
  13. Not only the exhaust valves have kissed the piston, I think one or two intake valves have also kissed the piston. Have a look at the picture of the pistons on the previous page, you will see 3 marks where the valves have kissed the piston. Cam timing was maintained and everything lined up.
  14. Also forgot to mention, the valves have deformed, like the face of the valve is not flat, it's mushroomed in.
  15. Yup, no one has measure it yet, the whole engine has been stripped except the short block. Car get's driven once a week and only has done 7 runs down the 1/4. Other driving is just city and normal cruise driving.
  16. I asked the builder was specs he set the valve lashes to, he said to kelfords spec. It runs kelford 103lb springs.
  17. I also looked at the exhaust cam gears on both side, one of them was dialed in at another degree and same with the other, they were not dialed in the same. Would this be an issue also ?
